I don't think Bradley could win many games against middle and west TN top dogs. Polls are a joke, but good for conversations like this. Bradley won't even make it to the semifinals to even let the number 1 and 2 team to decide who's number 1. It is a good Cinderella story for Bradley this season tho.

Who are the "top dogs" besides Oakland. Don't give me any of those D-II schools.

I'll give ya'll credit for beating Alcoa for sure, everyone picked yall to lose that one. They recruit at a high level, but still are 3A and play players both ways every year. To me yall should always beat them and for the most part you do.

I picked us to win. And we did.

By the way, we petitioned the TSSAA to play up in the early days of 6A.

  4. If you are one of the teams with a ? be sure and do your own research. Don't depend on the brain trust in Hermitage to figure it out correctly.

Never forget the Late Great Sullivan South debacle of getting left out of the playoffs until the last minute, and then they sent them all the way to Columbia Central from just outside Kingsport.

    4 hours and 44 minutes.

    317 miles.

I also feel like Maryville mostly had its hay day in 4A and since being in 6A the sledding has been tougher. Obviously they still won plenty of rings since moving up, but it wasn't as automatic as it had been.

Deputy, 4A in the five class system was just about as tough as 5A. There wasn't that much difference. Maryville has won six 6A championships and has three 6A runner-up trophies. Maryville has won eight 4A championships and has two runner-up trophies. We are finally getting healthy and just knocked off a pretty good team loaded with D-1 talent.

As far as the fishy part, the refs aren't from Maryville. We've had some doozies from the Tri-Cities area that  can't keep up with the speed of Oakland v. Maryville.

Jefferson County is not part of the Tri-Cities. The Tri-Cities consist of Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol.

I think SH wins this one by 10-14 pts.

Technically this is the true Tri-Cities. But there is also the Tri-Cities area composed of the following Counties:

    Tennessee
    Carter County
    Greene County
    Hancock County
    Hawkins County
    Johnson County
    Sullivan County
    Unicoi County
    Washington County

    Virginia
    City of Bristol (Independent City)
    Russell County
    Scott County
    Washington County

Some people say Morristown is in the NET (Northeast Tennessee). Some people say it is the TV market. Nobody really knows...

You avoid the "elephant in the room".

Eli Owen's New Truck was spray painted and sugar poured into the gas tank. The entire truck had to be repainted. The entire fuel system had to removed and flushed out.

    Yea, you stay classy murvul.:bored:

The little pot stirrer likes to leave out facts if they don't fit his narrative.

The truck was vandalized on September 10, 2023. The report says he doesn't think it is sports related.

I'm not excusing the behavior. In fact I would follow up with Wal-Mart to see who made a purchase of green spray paint and sugar.

To say this is Alcoa week related is a very big investigative leap (not a real thing) that this poster is making.
