  1. Good Post Hater, I couldn't agree more!
  2. It sounds like to me that UT, Kentucky,Ole Miis,Vanderbilt and a host of mid-major schools need to hire some of you guys, they must need your help in recruiting. Here is my take on it, Biggs has attended camps at these D-1 schools mentioned above, and after attending these camps he has had official visits to each, tellng me that they must have liked something they saw, my guess would be 6-7, 300 pounds. They can build, mold, teach, or how ever you want to put it, but they can't MAKE somebody be 6-7, 300 pounds. Sounds like some of you may be a little jealous or something, although it beats me as why. Once again, it's easy to critize a school age kid behind a screen name. If you all want to post about something, why not post about your coaching situation and what REALLY happened, for you to have your old head coach as an assitant now. And don't tell me it was a family matter, those of us in the know, know better! Also, how long do you reall you really think he's going to be happy as an assitant.
  3. Congrats to Oneida, they had no turnovers on a field that was almost unplayable. I hope we get another shot in the play-offs on a dry field. Both teams played great defense! Kaz-no fists needed or called for, but, if your gonna throw stones at a kid, at least expect a few to come back at you! As I stated before, I've always enjoyed your posts, that one was below your standards. per Kaz: "There are many things I am, having no class is far off my list.....so your insinuation wasn't taken lightly." Kaz, I hope you didn't take offense to the no class or coward comment, they were not meant as a insult, JUST AN OBSERVATION! Also, Mr.Biggs read your post, he was looking forward to meeting you tonight, maybe some other time!
  4. Justify it any way you want, if that's what makes you feel better, calling an insult a "observation" on a high school age kid, is what it is, a shot below the belt, shows little to no class, which you can do, because your hiding behind a screen name, which by the way I call a coward! If this is what YOUR so called tradition breeds, you can have it. As far as you watching the game, why not come on over to the OZ side and introduce yourself. I'm coming over to the Oneida side to say hi to some family. I don't have to hide from anything or feel the need to hide behind anything! Everyone knows who catback is! Go Bobcats
  5. I wonder if this is Karns homecoming game?
  6. per Kaz:Riddle me this, when is the last OS team that fielded been a consistent contender? WHAT?????? Ole Kaz talking some Smack!! Thats good, keep it coming! Sounds like Poor ole OZ doesn't have chance!
  7. In most if not all cases, the team hosting the homecoming activities lets the opposing coach know, so they will have knowledge of the schedule for that night. That way all concerned can plan their pre-game activities, that way the host team can do the HC stuff and the visiting team can warm up without being in the way. I wouldn't think all fans or parents would know of this practice, but that is the norm. And DCATV is right, I can't remember the last time OR was a homecoming opponent, and if you don't think the boys were fired about it, and that it carried over to the field, so be it, I know better! Again Thanks!
  8. I think Oak Ridge fans owe the Anderson County powers to be a BIG THANKS, for scheduling your homecoming game for the Oak Ridge game, I was told at the UT game last night that Coach Blade was not told about this being AC HC until they showed a few minutes late at the field for pre-game warm ups. Then he was told that the warm-ups would be cut short due to HC activities. It doesn't take a brainy-ake, to figure out that this would fire up the Oak Ridge players. Which it did, and it showed on the field, with Oak Ridge dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Again Thanks!
  9. Prayers and thoughts to all involved from the communities of Oliver Springs and Oak Ridge.
  10. OZ beats Midway and the officiating crew 24-13.
  11. Rebelron was at the game. Tell you what....I will ask him the next time I see him. BTW....where is Bladerunner? Your posts and his are just alike, childish! Two grown men acting like idiots! Even the Maryville faithful are tired of you!
  12. Can anyone else imagine a thread without bladerunner and MLREB spouting off, this thread was almost as classy as the Maryville fans we talked to before and after the game, then MLREB has to chime in. Too bad you can't get a lesson from rebelron on how to win AND post with class!
  13. As for the Oak Ridge crowd, I think because of the threat of rain (not like we shouldn't be used to a little rain by now-LOL), and the fact that it was on TV, and the fact all I heard all week was that the visitors side was not small but wasn't real big either, and that you needed to be at the field real early to get a seat, lead to a smaller crowd from OR. It being on TV though, was by far the biggest factor. OR soph QB played a great game, as did the Maryville QB, these two guys kept their team in the game the entire night.
  14. Old hick, You took the words right out of my mouth, two great schools, and a great game! The future games should make for a great series!
  15. No doubts, from my vantage point in the stands, there was no way I could see either one, but, after watching the tape (your suggestion), those were the only two plays that I thought that Coalfield may have had a problem with. OZ had more penalty yards than Coalfield, I don't see how you could possibly think that the refs had that much bearing on the outcome of the game.
  16. The more you posts, the more I'm convinced you either were not at the game or you watched the film of another game. I have watched the game tape twice, the Coalfield TD called out of the end zone, was correct, his left foot hit the ground first and it was on the line, good call. The interception by OZ, there is no way of telling from the replay if the ball hit the ground or not, but the ref was standing right on top of that play. NONE of the 3 personal fouls on OZ were for late hits. You keep watching that film, maybe in your own mind, at some point your team will win. The TSSAA rep and the refs were notified of a player on YOUR team, by somone you've aready played this year, because of dirty play, this same player was going around all week prior to the OZ game talking about taking out the knee's of one of our best linemen. Pre-season all-state, yea right, he spent most of the game on his backside!
  17. Yea, your right, the refs accounted for 46 of OZs points (the winning margin). You need to address the real problem, one that Coach Kries would have never allowed!
  18. If you could keep that one player from your team that is known for cheap hits and running his mouth, from acting that way, then there would be no need for the officiating crew to be notified. The thing is, they we're already aware of his type of behavior. What a joke! 48-2, we didn't need the refs help, the score says it all!
  19. I think what has always made this a big game is the fact the two schools are a short distance from each other, and just as the case last night, alot of the boys from both teams grew up playing youth football together.
  20. Yes, that was the finale, 21-6 Tellico I heard it was a fumble fest.
  21. Congrats to Grundy County on the Win! Hater, your an idiot and a coward, you posts just proves my point!
