The main reason why Oak Ridge players were so upset about not playing on friday was simply the fans....Playing Clinton on a friday night would attract sooo many fans, and that's exactly what Oak Ridge wants. If we played on a Thursday night, we would have a good crowd, but no where near as good if we played on a Friday night. Also, we had friends coming in from college all over the place to see the game, and we had to get on the phone and call them on their way down to tell them the bad news. But hopefully, the fan support from both teams will be electrifying on Thursday night. Anyone who wants to see a very emotional contest between 2 athletic teams, come to Oak Ridge gym on Thursday night at 8.

It's moments like this that make fierce rivalries seem silly. I'm from Oak Ridge, and I knew Anthony, and he seemed to be a really great guy. A lot of students at Oak Ridge were torn up from it. He will be truely missed and was deeply loved. Thoughts and prayers from the Oak Ridge Basketball team go out to friends and family.

ok, who are the ones that get on here and promote themselves??? i believe that me and KAUCHAK are the only ones from oak ridge who talk on here. others are fans of oak ridge basketball, but me and kauchak are the only players. oh yea, the reason why i know zack's getting better.....i'm his teammate. and another thing, K50K and nashvilleeye are NOT the same person, it just suprises you that someone else actually has something good to say about kevin, but that's just because the only people who talk about oak ridge basketball is clinton fans.

oh yea, and you said gulmire should stop playing so unselfish, he's worked on his shot a lot this off-season, and believe me, he's gonna be knockin about 3 or 4 three's down this year, look for him to average about 13 or 14 this year.

AAUball84, that's about the craziest thing i've ever heard. kevin was the returning leading scorer as a junior last year, one of the leaders on the team this year, and u think he won't start? there's no way sherrod should be a post, he's so much more dangerous on the wing, but don't be suprised to see him down there gettin 8 or 9 boards a game. but kauchak, and yes, it's KAUCHAK, not starting??? that must be a joke!

You seriously think that Central will have a team this year??? We played them in the team camp at Oak Ridge and beat them by at least 40 points. Our Oak Ridge II team (JV team) beat their varsity by like 10 or so. Central has not had much of anything for a couple years now, and i'd bet money that Central will have no kind of team this year. Yea, Zack Conner can shoot good, but i personally think his attitude stinks. I've been out on the court with him before, and all he does is whines and complains to the refs about bad calls. I think he's a little crybaby.
