Has anyone noticed that in 6 of 11 games Covington scored 21 points? Haywood needs to break the BLACKJACK.

QB edge???? Check your stats. The qb's are as equally matched as any two could be. I'm sure both have improved since they played.

Haywood is capable of beating Covington, Sheffield, or Crockett. Tomcat defense is awesome.

Football Fan, you are aware that Sheffield beat Haywood 14-5 in their second game and Hillcrest in their last game and that's it? No other wins.

Haywood has the size on defense. Will they be able to handle Trezvant?

It's funny you thought Haywood looked like a 6th grade team. I did give DHS a little more credit at the beginning of the game. I sat there thinking they looked like a 7th grade team. REALLY. Make up your mind. You act like they played ball the whole game one minute and bust my chops cause I disagree, then you turn around and concede that they didn't "play to their potential" the next. You know why I said I wasn't impressed.

Would I settle for it? Yeah, would I be happy with it? Nah, it would speak volumes as to how good Haywood really is.

It's not whether you win or lose. IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME. Like looking polished and in control and dominating. I love a pretty win! And I didn't see that at the Dyersburg/Haywood game.

Maybe not the boys, but definitely the people on here. We can all make excuses and "if's". Maybe DHS being out of school WAS why they looked the way they did against Haywood. I was just expecting so much more with them being undefeated, but then look at their schedule early on. And then again, Dyer Co. didn't even score against Haywood, and that was when Haywood was working out their offense. They had a sophmore qb in for half the game. Dyer scored what against Dyersburg - 22 points? I said I was not impressed and I wasn't. I was surprised. I would like to see Dyersburg when all conditions are suitable. To see if they are worth the hype. I guess Haywood could use the excuse that one of their best backs #11 was suspended. If they'd had him, they might have won. If,If, If, If,...........
