  1. Does anyone know which players were recognized with seasonal and tournament play?
  2. I feel certain the Cats will win--hopefully, the Santa Fe Wildcats. The teams split during the season with each team winning on their home court. This game will be held on Wayne County's floor so that means Santa Fe is going to have to put past games behind them and really play ball in order to come out with a win. Focus, play tough, and win Santa Fe!
  3. I just found the final score, Summertown 70-Collinwood 60, on the Daily Herald site, but no story about the game was given.
  4. Does anyone know how the game came out?
  5. CA won. You can find story at www.columbiadailyherald.com/
  6. Seems to me the very people who are talking about an opponent not showing class are being totally without class!! I have not bothered to read most of your posts during the year because (whether the team participates in it or it's only the fans) your conduct on the boards, your tasteless language, and your seeing how outrageous you can be under the guise of anonymity is a real turnoff! I did not attend the game, but I do know the guys on the team quite well; and do not believe the majority of the team members would start something without being provoked--Boo Boo being one of those who would definitely have to be provoked. As far as your bragging about beating Santa Fe (and other 12A schools), sure you have an advantage. You are AA and have many more students/athletes to chose from. Santa Fe is no where near your size. They have approximately 150-160 students in 9-12. You probably have at least that many per grade. Schools are divided into classes by size for the sole purpose of making fairer and more competitive conditions. As far as 12A being nothing, year after year 12A is one of the strongest districts from top to bottom of any district in the state. If A basketball (specifically 12A) is so horrible, evidently Lewis Co. thinks they must play them in order to bolster their record. I think some of you need to look at what "being a sport" is about and work on it. Good luck 12A (especially Santa Fe).
  7. I question that realwildcat is actually from Santa Fe. Zip code does not match. Could this be someone just trying to start something?!?
  8. Has the Santa Fe/Hampshire game been rescheduled? If so, when?
  9. Santa Fe was still without Boo Boo and Borne. Boo Boo is scheduled for MRI on his knee (believed to be ACL). They got behind early and could never really catch up. Carter scored 19 points (if I remember correctly) followed by Hood. The newspaper report and box scores are at www.columbiadailyherald.com
  10. Santa Fe won by about 16-18 points. This was without Boo Boo and Tyler Borne! Tyler was on crutches; Boo Boo has had MRI. Joe Olejniczak gave a great effort scoring 25 points. Joseph Carter had 19 points and double digit rebounds, muliple rejections, and a dunk. Cameron Hood had 16 points and a good solid game. All around, it was a very enjoyable game!
  11. Santa Fe avenged last year's sectional loss to Ezell-Harding tonight. They won 70-52. Santa Fe's Tyler Borne had a great night scoring 27 points--7 three pointers. Joseph Carter had a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds; Boo Boo Hutcherson had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
  12. Currently, starters are Joseph Carter, BooBoo Hutcherson, Tyler Borne, Josh McGee, and Cameron Sims. However, Dinka Hargrove has been getting play at guard and doing a pretty good job. Also, Cameron Hood was dressed out tonight and getting back from a hand injury. I had expected to see him playing a lot this year. Joe Olejniczak, the other senior on the squad, has been getting playing time, too, but with his height, he plays inside.

  14. I've checked the scoreboard and cannot find the results from tonight's game at Middle Tenn. Christian. Can anyone tell me how they came out?
