  1. BigDaddy, Take a big-ole chill pill Buudddy. No ones blaming any player. Dan Marino couldn't make that offense work. and I wouldn't want to go back to high school not under that staff. I played when Petite was offense coodinator. He took a much less talented team to 9-1 record. I wonder what he could have done?? May-be no better we will never know. i wish petite the best of luck. curtis needs to back to the other side of Eliz. and take Ogg with him. he could coach tennis or golf i'm sure. I'm just fustrated this group of seniors have NEVER came close to having a losing record in anything since grade school. the paper says they are the best 4-5 team out there. I would much rather be the worst 8-1. Gary kieth or J C said in the paper you have to do three things good in High school football run outside, run between tackle and pass. How can you argue that piont.(look at the success they have had)either school (the basics) just don't get so excited. but the truth is the truth. you might want to check into an anger management class?????? This is Clouldland / Hampton week as far as concerned no one else in Cater county is playing good luck both teams
  2. I agree if HV will establish a true running game NOT OUT OF THE SPREAD which is not designed to run they could possibly surprise Loudon. the talent is there to do it. and forget what the staff say about the line they very capable of establishing the line of scrimmage if given the opportunity. But it must be out of a split back field or I formation. as far as Hampton and Cloudland Hampton by 14 (or more) would love to see it. good luck both teams with no injuries so you can meet again down the road. it will happen.
  3. As far as Happy Valley goes if you take away the pionts the offense has given up. and the int's that have led to scores HV has but one loss. No matter how you look at it the spread has certainly spread the wins out. But we play another weak team this week so I'm sure it will look good on paper. I'm told the coaches have scheduled a public appology to all the seniors for wasting the most talented class ever. ( If not they should)
  4. I believe it was 8 of 30 with one int. i think davis had one catch.
  5. Of course you also listed Ogg as one of the best coaches in the area. I guess that explains how much you know about H V football. please don't put Todd or Davis in that category
  6. Talk too me I want to know how you feel??????? Spread or not???? How do you justify possibly the most talented team ever at Happy Valley. And could finish with a losing record.
  7. Dear absurd you are my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will back you til the end of time
  8. I agree with all except. HV/south greene. if HV uses thier massive air attack. it will be another 3 or 4 picks just as it has when they have played quality teams(not better teams). the spread looks good against weak teams. proofs in the puddin
  9. I agree with JC Campbell. But (you've got to be kidding me)how can you mention ogg. those kids walked the dog for the past 6 years only suffering 3 loses combined yrs. He has taken the most talented class ever @ HV and made them only as good as one. HV will be lucky to finish 6-4. more than likely 5-5. Those other coaches have taken average talent and made them great. He has done the opposite. rumor has it that he has finally realized he knows nothing about coaching and will quit. unfortunately 7 years to late.

i would have to rank it #1 hampton #2 cloudland #3 Eliz #4 HV reasons: hampton best coached team even prior to lunsford's return cloudland (it's just cloudland man) always good eliz more students to pull from and still good tradition HV most talented team ever. but obviously poorest coached unaka well it's unaka
  11. If the Gap gets pressure early or low and behold a sack or a knock down. CG wins!!!! I've not seen all the games but their QB is afraid of contact. Usually when that happens or he throws an int (9 so far) He comes out of the game. Or at least hurries and doesn't find open recievers. against sullivan south 3 picks. against JC 3 picks. proof's in the puddin
  12. The best by far that you will never see. Happy Valley's Ryan Garland and Will Lowe. What a misstake to have that talent and not use it!!!!!!!!!!! Given the right offense they couldn't be touched. Neither could the warriors, they have the line and would still have the recievers to diversify. Huge brain fart!!!
  13. Happy Valley will continue to have trouble with teams that have good cover defensive backs. They have potentially the best fullback, tailback combination in east tn. But no one will ever know. (plus HV is deep thier,)until they find a way to get them the ball. I say it's up for grabs. The spread is good but not as your only source of offense. Don't sacrifice an abuntant talent for one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I think 26 should have been more JC left the middle wide open entire game. just throw it thier enough. #1 was open almost every route. I think swafford had 12 and garland cose to that.
  15. Does Cumberland gap have quality defensesive backs??? that's one thing Johnson County had. I don't think it's a question of who's line is better, If so HV would win hands down But if CG can get some pressure on todd caldbaby they will do well
