WOW .......Rich kids ????? I guess someone forgot to tell my banker that we were rich ! Just as any other school , there are some kids from homes with more expendable income , but the vast majority of the kids ( not just football players ) are from homes where their Moms and Dads do without the new car every year , the 2-3 dinners out every week , and all the other unneccesary expenditures , just to make the sacrifice to send their kids to a quality school like Notre Dame for the academic and spiritual aspect . The bottom line is this .......BOTH Notre dame AND Livingston should be applauded for making it this far in the playoffs , and yes , it WILL be a very good game . ' Nuff said .

I agree ......I think there has been a lot of " flogging the dead mule " on that topic . Has Charlie Wiggins recruited while at Notre Dame ? The answer is YES , YES , AND YES ........he has recruited the greatest Assistant Coaches around to assist him in coaching the kids to reach their fullest potential , and to be proud of their actions on AND off the field . And that's all I have to say about that . To come from a 1-9 season two years ago , to taking the Region Championship with a 10-0 record ...............you can't deny that 's great coaching , because he was still dealing with the same kids that suffered through that terrible season as Freshman and Sophomores .

He's making reference to the VERY large statue of Jesus at the " big " Notre Dame in South Bend , IN which overlooks the football stadium . We don't have one of those large statues , but we do have a bunch of kids ( especially the Srs & Jrs ) who have experienced a 1-9 season , and have worked very hard to get to where they are today ( 10-0 and 3 3A champs ) . Good luck next Friday , but I believe it will end 28-7 Fighting Irish !

I have to disagree ....................The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame 28 Macon Co. 7 . And DO we ever have a kicker ! And the backup kicker is as good as the starter . Which ever way it goes , folk's will definately get their money's worth as they did last night against Polk Co. ( what a hard hitting game !! )

Take I-24 from Nashville into Chattanooga . As you go around theriver at Moccasin Bend , stay in the left lanes and merge onto I-24/ I-75 .Exit off the interstate at 4th Ave. exit then left at the light at the bottom of the exit . Go to the second traffic light which will be 23rd St. and turn right . Go to the next traffic light which will be Dodds Ave. and turn left . Stay on Dodds Ave until you go under an overpass then the next traffic light turn right ( there is a sign that says Notre Dame High School ) and the road will lead you directly to the school . Parking and access is very easy .

WELL , LET'S JUST USE YOUR REASONING FOR A SECOND ..................IF NOTRE DAME WAS " RECRUITING THEIR PLAYERS " AS YOU SAY , THEN WHY WERE WE 1-9 TWO YEARS AGO ? ONE WOULD THINK THAT IF INDEED CHARLIE HAD THE ABILITY TO RECRUIT THE " BEST OF THE BEST " , THEN NOTRE DAME WOULD GO UNDEFEATED EVERY YEAR ! UNFORTUNATELY SOME FOLKS JUST CAN'T FIND IT IN THEMSELVES TO BE PROUD OF A BUNCH OF KIDS WHO HAVE WORKED HARD ALL SPRING AND SUMMER , AND HAVE BEEN COACHED TO REACH THEIR GOALS , AND BY YES ......THE BEST COACH IN REGION 3 , CHARLIE WIGGINS .

How about Charlie Wiggins from Notre Dame - Chattanooga .......2 years ago experienced a 1-9 season , came back the following year with an 8-2 season and went to the second round of state , and currently is undefeated in Region 3 AAA ........sounds like pretty good coaching to me !
