Do you know what the scores were?
Cookeville vs Siegel scores: 25-16, 25-13, 21-25, 25-14

Would also like to add, the fan support for Cookeville from the student body, faculty and the community tonight was fantastic. There were very few seats left in the stands and that is something you just don't see that often around here at a volleyball game. Thanks to all who attended.

As PHargis stated, Cookeville did win 3-1. Great match with Cookeville dominating with slight let down during game three. All 8 players who saw the floor for Cookeville played GREAT.... They have been such an exciting team to watch over the past couple of weeks. Keep it up girls, continue to work hard and continue striving to reach your final goal.

Great tourney for all of the MT teams but expecially for Cookeville who seems to be hitting their stride. Cookeville briings with it six Seniors and a fine record.
Siegel, a fifth place finisher this weekend at the Southside tourney, comes in to this contest in First Place in 7AAA and trying complete the first half of the season ahead of the field.
This will be a great contest that the whole conference is watching between these two great teams. Cookeville has steadily move up the ladder to be one of the best teams in the state and Siegel is bringing together its 3 Seniors with a group of talented Juniors and Sophmores to try to keep the pace they have maintained the first half of the season. This will be a great 4+ hours of excitement with 3 matches and one of the highlights of the season.
Cookeville actually has 8 seniors. I believe they are also undefeated in 7AAA which would mean the outcome of the game with Siegel on 9/12 will determine who is in first place in 7AAA.

I must chime in that Cookeville's #11 (also captain) has beautiful hands. She set everything I saw very cleanly, no matter good/bad a pass. And she hits well.
As clifford would say, she's a stud.
Creme a la creme in my opinion.
Glad someone has noticed #11 (Taylor Denney) for Cookeville. Everyone talks about Cookevilles strong middle hitters but part of the reason they are so great is because they have such a great setter.

Cookeville beats Warren County 25-6, 25-6, 25-6. Lebanon beats Siegel in 4, not sure of exact scores but something like 25-27, 25-11, 25-17 and 25-19. Finals of 7AAA will be Cookeville vs Lebanon, should be a geat match.
