Be sure and give your boy Kelley a good luck kiss b4 you got to sleep cuase he is going to need all of the luck he can get going up against the man Darius Ewing. Ewing will truck him and Travis will wish he was on the bench. If you're going to promote someone on this site, at least pick someone who is worthy of it.

How many have you all lost now? It's too many to keep count of. Timmly Blakely, Dexter Manning, Drew Valentine, Kelvin Rone, Wesley Woods, TJ Knight, Brian Sneed, Spencer Grooms, Matthew McGaha, Matthew's older brother, plus I am sure there is more that I dont know of. Cosby may be single A, but who wants to play for a team that gets the crap beat out of them every game, when the same kids play over and over even though they are getting beat by 50.

You're killing me Caleb...I am laughing so hard my ribs hurt...I have seen 18 month old babies with more coordination than Travis Kelley. Timmy would school him in a game of one on one. Going to 21 it would 21-0. Travis can't dribble, run, or shoot unless he is right under the basket. I give him credit, he has improved, but not enough to beat Timmy. And you would figure being 6'4", one would figure he could dunk.....well I'll leave it at that...

I think Cocke County by the end of the year will be able to compete with Greeneville and Mo West. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA That's the funniest thing I've heard all year. Keep on dreaming. Morristown West is going to hand CCHS their jock strap tonight. Who does CCHS have that can guard Winstead or Guthrie on the wing, or Ewing on the inside? Joel can jump, but that's it. Travis Kelley? Please!!! He couldnt guard his own shadow. Birdsell needs to stick to working at Cracker Barrell. Terrence is too busy cursing the refs.. Compete with Greeneville by the end of the season. Man, what you been smoking, sniffing, or whatever it is you do to burn up all those brain cells. Greeneville girls team could beat CCHS. Greeneville has a freshman girl that could come start for the CCHS boys team.

So, what is it you are an athlete in, trash talking others who are better than you? If you was an athlete, right now you would be practicing to get better to beat teams like Cosby, instead of sitting behind a computer trying to put down a team who has worked their tails off to make something of their program. Cosby isn't like the teams from Memphis who can pick and choose from a large talent pool, whose parents can move from one side of the city to the other to play for a "better" team.

Nicole Dickson put up 28 against Prairie, WA which is ranked 20th in the nation & #1 in the state of Wasington, and fresh off a championship title at the Nike Touney of Champions in Pheonix. Sounds like a bid for top frosh in East TN.

Has anyone heard the score of the Greeneville game?

Dexter Manning G 5-9 (Not sure on heights, best estimate) Dexter is more like 6'1" maybe 6'2" on a good day. Took a big growth spurt the past year.

I was surprised when I saw the final score. I thought Cosby would surely blow PF out, especially after watching PF play in Greeneville Friday night.

According to an article in the Plain Talk, they play Dec. 15th @ 6:30 @ CCHS.

I give you credit for the only smart thing you said on your post. Timmy is a star, and deserves more credit than he gets. But as far as Cosby being over rated, they are the real deal. Yes, they may be playing some weak teams right now, but they will have plenty to brag about to you and others when it matters most, MARCH, when they are in Murfreesboro and you are at home scratching your head wondering when baseball practice starts.

I am glad to hear that Dexter & Timmy had good games. I have known them both for a long time, and they have worked hard to get better. Hope the wins keep rollin' in. Hope crap like the previous post keeps you inspired to show people that Cosby bball is for real.

I know it's early, but does anyone have any predictions on District 2AAA ? Cocke County is breaking in a young, inexperienced coach and has low player turnout the last few years. M'town East lost their best player to Maryville (Basile). Greeneville lost it's best player to graduation (Venerable). M'town West is stacked with young talent, and only lost a few players to graduation. Jeff always reloads with talent each year, but lost their top pitchers to graduation (Chapman, Bowlin, Ausmus, Jenkins). Cherokee also has a young team, but lost some key players to graduation (Pearson, Weaver).
