79 guys to 36. Our own media guys headline was "Pearl Cohn torches White House". Yeah they scored at will. I will say this for the Blue Devils they were down 28 to 0 at the end of the first quarter, and they didn't just curl up and die and that's great character. And it was a record for points scored against WH. And it will be a great coaching tool for us in the future. Because DAAAAAAAAMN. And I also want to say the Pearl Cohn players were classy about it after the game. And that is well coached too. Because they stomped the ever loving #### out of us. The Blue Devils also had zero penalties. And considering how frustrating the game had to be that was a fine thing too. And I did not leave early because they don't get to leave early when it's hard. And next year the Region Championship will go through the Firebirds. And for a program like White House that's used to being the region champion things just got real babies. The band was great at half time too. And the fish was killer. So it didn't totally suck. But gee whiz if you don't beat Trevezant we're going to have WORDS.

Please don't tell me you think WH gets favored spots from referees uh puhleeze. Ever been to WH Greenbrier? Referees hate us.

With the 2015 schedule, firebird we'll have LOTS of chances to chat next year, too. Oh baby it's getting good. The new region is crazy. First things first though. First possession's going to be big tonight. When you get to the Quarters the football is good. This is going to be fun. The best prepared team will win. Both programs have play off traditions and lots of pride. Boolyah let's have a clean game.

And just to clarify the 4 losses this year were games where I was out of town. I won't be letting that happen again. SHAME ON ME.

And I hope it is Trevezant that comes through so a Middle Tennessee team can paddle their butts next week. And no I don't know how to spell it.

Hello firebird80 still a passionate alum I see, hope you are well. I will wave at you tonight from the visitors section. If your band marches I will sit with you at half time because they are the best in Middle Tennessee. I will point out that the WH Defense totally shut down Giles County's D1 Receiver Recruit last week. He can explain that to the coach at Ole Miss. So it's not like we don't know how to play against great athletes. We've been doing that for a while now. So here's to a well fought game and a barn burner. Firebirds and Devils oughta be smoking hot tonight. WHOO HOO Go Blue.

WHOO HOO that was great. Sounds like I should be glad I was at the stadium instead of watching it on TV. White House's Jeff Porter did GREAT. Very proud of how WH was represented. JD Dotson may be an Ensworth 4 time State Champion but we all remember him from Junior Pro in White House and he is such a terrific young man. And at FB and LB for the West he was totally BOSS.

You know this Senior Class was the first class in the history of WH to make the Quarters all four years. That's a big deal for a program where huge superstars are a rare thing.

Well 95cats, if wishes were horses we'd all have a ride. And games are won on the field not on paper. I'm proud of our boys. They played until the last whistle. And next year if my son plays he'll be playing on Saturday. But I expect I might see you on December 13.

I would like to acknowledge that we got beaten by a better team last night, A couple of blown plays might have made it closer but that's the way football goes, I won't bother with woulda coulda because I have always felt that was stupid. Gee if things had happened different we could have won well no sh!t. I am enormously proud of a class of Sehiors who played 53 games 5 seasons of football in 4 years. They are a good bunch of boys who are unselfish and brave. And we had a deal my son and I. Football belonged to him. I promised I would never brag on him or act like he was all that because he's a humble guy who loves his team and he's not the biggest linebacker you willl ever face, but he's one of the smartest and hardest hitting and he just did not stop pounding away and he lost with dignity. And I don't think he horse collared your player, I think he climbed a mountain of a kid and took dowh a guy who probably wondered who the heck was that. LOL, Well that was my son. And he will be playing on December 13th with your number 15. So Giles we'll get to jaw again about how the Mighty West wlll do against the East. Taylor became the career tackle leader at White House and #2 on the season tackle record list behind a guy from the '97 champion season. And he'd hand all of that back to play next week. And you have to admit #39 ran a boss Red Zone Defense that made goal line scoring pretty challenging. And if that little pass had been catchable I think he'd have scored by mowing down the guy in the secondary, Giles County had great fans. And a class coach who showed no interest in rubbing it in our Senior Classes face. And I appreciate that. Coaches respect these boys because they took a team that no one predicted as Region Champions and took it as far as they could against insurmountable odds in the post season. May I say you are free and clear to just pound the snot out of Trev. Because Giles is the program that should represent the Middle on the way to Cookeville by whooping the West on outta here.
