Helton isnt hearing from Auburn, Holt did a couple of time but his inability to finish routes is killing him. I dont understand about the schedule. I was told the following... A few kids had left Rutledge to attend Carter (per local school official and central office adminstrator) Kids had also left Jeff Co to attend Carter (Per graduated football player and current). A close friend of mine (that works in the media in Knox County in print, television and radio) told me that kids in Knox County had been shifted westward to swell numbers at the west Knox HS's to give justification to building the one at Hardin Valley. As for being a hater, I dont see any words that would show that. I went to the Carter FB website and seen a dramatic increase in the records over the past 10 years. Now I work in the Hawkins County area and know coach Woods does an outstanding job, but that type of dramatic turnaround in the least suspcious. Carter was also in the old District AAA, which is different that the Georgia style 3A that the ever so full of wisdom TSSAA has. I dont appreciate being called a HATER, if what I said is full of hate, then I am sorry. I look at the clues and came up with my opinion. Thats all. Lived here forever. Claiborne was in District 2-AA for years til redistricting. And as I said I will be there tonight, come tell me to my face please. As I said aint no HATER. Again I am not a Hater.... I am explaining what was told to me by TSSAA, KC BOE and KNS sources. I have nothing against the Hornets but am slowly gaining one. It was a point that I was making that Carter's enrollment has suddenly fluctuated since redistricting began. What Region do they play in basketball. Listen yo can call me a hater all you want matter of fact you can tell me Friday night (I will be the one in a Adidas Bulldog Coaches shirt) I have worked in your community, even preached in your community so I do have friends and they have expressed similar concerns. Carter may win and probably will tomorrow night. But I hope that on that long ride back to Straw Plains, they know they have played a game. Claiborne may not be Maryville, A-E or Fulton, but they play. And personal attacks are not my forte` I have not made a single personal attacked, called anyone a title or name, I have much more respect for the game for that. Sir, Not a hater. just stating the truth. How many 4A titles did Carter have prior to coming to 3A. How many kids does Carter have now compared to the annoucement of the new Hardin Valley mega school (aka pre 3A)? I have not ill will toward Carter, the coaches, players and most of the fans, but it is strange how they have this new found success after moving to 3A compared to 4A. I would much rather play the teams in 3A as playing the teams in 4A. and how long will it be before they move back to 4A? So please a retraction would be nice because I am not a Hater. Carter may win the game Friday night, but the my hope is that they will go away from it with respect for others who were here before them. Regards....

Carter 34 Claiborne 34 Claiborne's offense is clicking pretty good. A devoted running attack last week has hid the passing game which may be unveiled this week at the "Dog Pound". Given Thomas Walker is a small team, the linebackers and secondary played fairly well and may give the 4A, oops 3A Hornets a run for their money.

Old School: Claiborne County Blue Devils (Claiborne HS Bulldogs now) vs. Powell Valley Indians (Cumberland Gap Panthers now) And its still bad blood... Others... Knox Catholic vs. Knox Webb; went to one in the late 80's with a friend of my from Webb, taunting excellente'. Gibbs Eagles vs. Union County Red Devils (Patriots now); we stole your girlfriend one would say the other would ask for his sister back; Jeff Foxworthy got alot of his materials at those games. Cloudland vs. Hampton is a great pitch as well....

The "gentlemen" from Taft are not you dime-store bandits. That place is the end of the line for juvenile offneders. Many there are in there for 3+ felonies (thats rape, murder, child molesters, armed robbery, ect) and aint very nice. If I was an AD and Taft was coming I would not put my cheerleaders on the field. Worked in that system for 2 years and trust me they aint nice. As for the story I was told by employees there at Taft that it was true.
