Well... i don't want to speak for them but just reading through these threads it seems as though VB and HS played last year? And since the HS people have said that they had everyone back then you would be able to make a logical assumption about a team's speed based on that because a person's speed is not something that magically changes. Also I'm guessing that Lookout Valley has a lot more "athletes" to choose from in the Chattanooga area. These are all just thoughts and logical assumptions though. That's probably how the VB people know that HS is not as fast as Lookout Valley. Did I go to fast?

I think people have to be talking about you being good before you can be overrated. To my knowledge no one on these boards has been to concerned with them so overrated is not what I would call them. I am sure they are decent, but no one has really hyped them up so... not sure where this thread is going? I would say they are respected, but nothing more.

They will have a shot especially since they host the district, but don't expect anything in the region. The other side is too tough for anyone in district 9. They will have a decent year win-loss wise, but they are not great by any means. I'm gonna say forrest wins the district with cascade and van buren battling for 2nd.

Just don't think they are as good as eagle is always saying. They are decent, just not good enough to beat you all. That's all.

Shot blocking is a little overrated. It's more important that you make the opposition "think" you will block their shots so they will alter them rather than actually having to block the shots. That being said, Rich does a tremedous job changing people's shots in the lane and is a very big asset on "d". Oh, and Devil, you're hilarious. I can just imagine eagle and the other boys "from that ther mountain" as they like to call it shaking in their boots thinking Rich was actually 6'10. They're worried enough as it is about the spanking they will take from you guys, but then again I guess they should be because they are not in your league.

I would rank them like this: 1. Forrest - good returning core I've heard. 2. Van Buren - will compete this year & be the team to beat in the future. 3. Eagleville 4. Cascade 5. Community 6. MTCS 7. Boyd Christian - always struggle. Will be no difference this year.

I'm just wondering if cheese is going to go start worrying about their fans having to travel to clarksville academy for the region tournament. If his boys from Cascade make it?

That means nothing. There are tons of guys who get college jobs that aren't great coaches, but get the jobs because of contacts. In no way does that mean he knows what he is doing. He might, I don't know, but saying he does just because he used to coach college is incorrect. Also, I saw Richland play this summer- they're not that great.

If trousdale did play them close then it was because it was "a camp game". They are not in Celina's league. RBS will not be there from 7A.
