Yea but aparently onieda doesn't have any respect? Thats y they are in the "SPECIAL DISTRICT", so that they can learn what it means. Both programs will be good this year. Although Onieda being in single A ball they will have the better record, sorry Lady Highlanders.

I have watched a little of the practices the girls had and they looked good. They only have 2 srs on the team but they have some good talent. They will be in shape, they run more than any team i have saw n they also do alot of dribbling drills. So that means less turnovers. They have plenty of players who can shoot the ball, and atleast 2 good post players in Bobbi Silcox and Tara Jeffers. The starting lineup is very unpredictable with the new coach n all. But this team will win atleast 10 games this season. Good Luck Girls!!!

I don't know who the best coach is in AA but Coach Hall of Scott High is one the best in Tn. He had a few down years but came back last year by taking SHS to the region, and he looks forward to going back this year. Scott will make a great run for the district championship with coach Hall there. Even without the talent of last year he is making them work hard and teaching them the way to win as a TEAM. not individuals. "Individuals play the game, but teams win championships!!!!"

Can the highlanders compete in a district with CAK added. Anderson Co. n Kingston still look good also.

Onieda is another team in east tn that will suprise those who think they have no one. sure the season could be like the football season, new coach lots of unknowns, but basketball is different any school is capable of comin up wit five reliable starters. Which is what i expect OHS to do.
