I will have to say that wb came out to play and congrats on your win, but i think everyone must agree that the refs in that game stunk! because if they would have been doing their job wb would have had double the turnovers cause danielle walked everytime she first started out with the ball. if all the things that were over looked by the refs might have changed the outcome of the game....

I know im a little late answering this, but since you were wondering who was appluading when Cait went down...well i will tell you. It was on the AE bench. I really don't know what role she played on the team, but it was the older woman...you know the one with black and grey hair. It just shows that people at every age can be immature because her cheering when cait got hurt was cruel. I know for a fact that when all 3 of the AE players went down during the game that no one on the HHS bench claped and cheered because they got injured. As you are stating that HHS doesn't deserve to be ranked and that you think that AE has a better ball team...Lets just get this straight. I have seen both teams play. AE has a good ball club...they do deserve recognition b/c they have a bunch of athelets, but the thing that they lack is disciple. It seems to me that they only really play when they wanted to. And i do agree they did miss some very important free throws that hurt them in the long run. But you have no right to say that HHS doesn't have a ball club because the night they played AE they weren't hitting anything! If you were paying attention to the game you would have noticed the amount of misses they had....which is very unusual. Everyone on that team works extremely hard to be where they are at! They are a very fundamental team which has proven to over power the teams with more athletic players. For instance when they went down to florida to play they won all their games without Cait around and because they were just doing their thing. I hope that all the players that got injured during the game are ok...Cait as well as the 3 AE players! Good luck the rest of the session to both teams!

I think that in a way they are good because they keep people from having so many ankle injuries and you don't have to worry so much on twising it, but also there is the downside of wearing them when not needed ends up making your ankles very weak. So i think it is just whatever the player wants to do or needs to do.

Even though Ke Ke is a big post and a good ball player, Heritage's post battled down low and didn't give up. They have shown people with the last few games that they can play with post their size and aren't scared to take on the challenge of post bigger than them. Everyone that went in during this game contributed to getting this win. And even though a lot of their shots weren't falling they kept at it and found a way to win. This is what makes them such a great team. When they know they aren't doing so well in one area-like shooting for example-they pick up their intensity on defense. So keep at it up heritage and good luck with your game on thursday.

Heritage works extremely hard at their game and deserve some recognition for all their hard work and effort. Congrats....I heard heritage played oak ridge last night and won even though a lot of their shots weren't falling...thats what makes a team great cause even on off nights they somehow find a way to win!

Cumberland co. couldn't play on heritages level. they have a really good defense and extremely quick players, but when they played heritage in preseason they lost to them. In my opinon they just couldn't keep up with how heritage played...so they might make it far but NOT to state.

The post are definately stepping up their game and contributing majorly. Hope Lawson has definately joined the team and is only jv for a while till she earns herself a spot on varsity. She did play some time in shelbyville for the varsity and helped out with getting quite a few rebounds. the team has come through some great competition in games and been in hard situations, but always finds a way to win. I think they will definately be state material this year.
