Well....I will agree with Big Dawg.....there will be a huge crowd there for the Hampton/Unaka game......and personally....I can't wait! I think the Dogs will come out revved up to play. I think Unaka will give them a run for their money. But, I still gotta go with those Dogs. My prediction......Hampton 28....Unaka 13 Good Luck to the Dogs! I, for one, have followed these gals all year long. They are a great group of gals....they know they are a team working together to get the job done. I have seen them come back from being behind....never losing momentum. This will be a great game for both teams. Shutting down only one or two players on this team will only open up possibilities for others. They like everyone else are capable of making mistakes......and then turning right back around to capitolize on them and get back in the game. Congrats to the Lady Dogs for getting this far! I for one will be listening to the game rooting you all on! Win this one for the "Dog Pound"! Make us Carter Countians proud! GO DOGS!

Heck.....How's about we start another thread so they can have something else to complain about! Can we help it that we are VERY Proud of our guys and how far they have come? Let us have some fun! I agree with ya class......these are 2 groups of young men playing their hearts out and doing what they love to do everyday......play football. No matter who wins.....we have made it to the final four. That on Hampton's side is a great accomplishment. GO DOGS!

I don't think that there is 2' of snow on the field. He may be higher up in the mountains where they could have 2' of snow on the ground. I am about 20 minutes away from Hampton as I speak and we have nothing on the ground. They are however calling for possibly 2-6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.....but it shouldn't be enough to hamper the big ballgame......so wishful thinking MO. It is cold here....and I can't wait. Us Bulldog fans like to watch a game in the cold! Makes us proud that our guys can go out and play as well as they do in weather like this. What I would like to know is......who asked anything about 1996? I think this thread is about the current year.....2005. These guys have played their hearts out everyweek.......everyone in Hampton and all the surrounding schools that have been put out of the playoffs around here ought to be out backing these young kids every weekend....and if not......quit drudging up the past.....I think the saying is.....LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE! Well...I can tell you that I got there last week at between 5:30 and 5:45 and the gates were open then....so I am not sure what time exactly the gates open....sorry.

If I am not mistaken....they have a table set up selling shirts at the game....long sleeved tees are like 10-15 bucks and the long sleeved hooded sweatshirts are like 20 bucks. I am sure they will be there selling them this week as they have been in the same place every week that we have played. You can't miss the table.....it's right before you get to the Hampton stands. I am wondering if there will be any other schools bring their fans to root for Hampton? Bulldog # 1.....I will definitely have to agree with ya....I as well went to school at Hampton a while back and I think this is one heck of a TEAM. I haven't missed but a couple of games this year....including the all night rainer....and boy.....can I say we had more fans in their seats as the game came to an end than I expected. I wish the Bulldogs the best of luck tomorrow night....you guys can do it.....and all of us fans up in the seats will definitely be rooting for ya. WBEJ is our local station here and they will be broadcasting the game again this Friday. It is 1240 am.

I think this will definitely be a great game! I know that both teams are good or they wouldn't be in the position that they are in now. I haven't seen Coalfield play this year so I can only go off of what I have heard on here. And, being a HUGE Hampton fan....I can say....Hampton has a very strong defense. They know what they have to do and when they have to do it....and they adapt to change very well....or they wouldn't have gotten past Cloudland. I know I will definitely be in the stands grabbing my seat way before the game begins....and yes...I will be wearing my Bulldogs blue and white. he he he! I hope that both teams will make this a clean and excellent ball game to watch. This is gonna be a "may the best team win" type of game. My predictions are...... Hampton 21 Coalfield 14 GO DOGS! I just have to say GO DOGS! For those of you who missed the game this friday missed a good game. Hampton made a bunch of mistakes but kept working on them throughout the game. Harriman would make it down to within 10 yards of a touchdown and Hampton would hold them off. I will have say that Hampton's defense is what led them to win against Harriman. I would loved for Hampton to have another match up against the other local hometown boys...Cloudland....but it just wasn't meant to be. It's gonna be cold for the game this friday....so all you Hampton fans....wrap on up and come out to support our team! GO DOGS! We are proud of you!
