All you need is 11 good ones. TC looks at teams with 70 guys and think to themselves "their program can't be that hard." I think in order for a coach to think like that takes years of experience. Most coaches that have small numbers on their team usually are intimidated of teams w/ 50-60 guys. Thats why its a rare thing for a team like TC with only 28-30 players to not only win the state , but beat some team 52-16 in the state championship. Good coaching along w/ talent made them win the state championship. When we played them, during the game I was thinking this is the best coached group Ive ever played against, because they did everything right, even the little things. As long as those coaches are there the program at TC will be successful, and I can see them being a dominant force in 1a until they leave.

okay didnt he say "just some possibilities" ... now where do you get that he said he deserved to be all-state? Mr. Grace, did you know that he was the only guy on that list that made all-state last year? Doesnt that make sense that he is a possible all-state pick for this year? Why would he make a list of all the players in the region, including his own 2 teammates Smith and Skogen, and leave his name off of the list? I think when you actually know the facts... thats when you should start running your mouth... but until then stop trying to make yourself sound like a saint.

Umm... i couldnt tell you for sure, but i dont think so. I havent seen anyone at the games doin it yet.

Grace will be a good team this year, maybe the best single A team in chatt, well we'll find out when they play Temple, which should be a good game. Theyre record last year wasnt bad. Could have been better if they would have played by Jonathan Wheelers 3 quarter game rules, but TSSAA hasnt approved it as of yet.

We are all still here! We just came out flat first game , typical of most teams in their first game. And Walker Valley isnt a pushover. Theyre 3a and might give some teams some problems this year in their district and region. The funny thing is we didnt play that good and lost by a point. I think once we get everyone on the same page and start playing good bball we will be a very tough team .

Your prob. right ... even though we take pride in our defense. But i'm sure that last year when other teams played us they werent quite as scared of our defense as our offense with Caleb, Seth, Sean...etc, even though we did have a good defense. Some words of wisdom from my bud bessbie that we all could use about the Temple vs. Grace game ... calm dooownn...

No your right bc CW puts the bench in so we dont humiliate teams like 21st.... but if you look at the schedules from the past 4 years we kept yall in the 40s about 5 or 6 times... so i guess thats pretty decent defense

Good call Stevo ... weve beat them in the past couple of years (18-1?) and now that they have a better team than us on paper everyone wants to go buck and say that Temple isnt at the same level that Grace is. But bball is played on the bball court and not on paper ... well unless you have no life.

I've seen both play and I think they're about even at this point, even though some may disagree. I think one thing that might hurt grace is having to many stars on the team. I remember seeing Eldridge shoot about everytime he got the ball one scrimmage... which he did make most of them. And I dont even know if thats an issue for Grace playing as a team... more of a question... will they play team ball? Other than that I see at least 2, 3, or maybe 4 good games between Temple and Grace this year. Good Luck to both...
