Good point opperman but in my opinion if a team can't score it doesn't deserve to win. And holding the ball is saying we are more likely to beat you at keep-away than at playing basketball.

first of all dcchoctaws is not a dcer he's a wannabe from humbolt. I never said I was Micheal Jordan. I know I am not that good and will never make a career out of basketball but I could have helped as much on the team as anyone to get a goldball if I would have gotten the chance. You peeople are the haters always wanting to bring someone down and talk about someone becasuse of their opinions, grow up.

Helpful critcism isn't hating its trying to help. DC is not only my team but they are my boyz and I wish them the best of luck in their lives. All coaches make mistakes and we all know how many butch makes, letting me go was just another line of the list. You guys can think whatever about me getting "cut" but atleast in 5+ years i'll have a real life and some internet site will not control what I do and say, losers. MJ was cut his first time trying out in hs right?

if DC plays strong and boxees out and continues to improve on distributing the ball dc wins by 20. If not and we play stingy ball and forget to pull down offensive rebounds instead of trying to get the tip in then dc wins by 4-8. If coach hopkins remembers matt knows how to play no telling how much we win by. Goodluck chochtaws and lady taws.

Jon is under different terms of redshirting than anyone else. In actuality you can't participate in intramural basketball if your on the basketball team, not any sports whatsoever.

Your right he is a good coach but bad judgement on people and how to controlthem and i'm not just refering to myself I promise you.

I'm sorry but if I was Jon and was constantly telling people I was playing and some guys on coacht that apparently know more about Jon than he knows about hisself kept saying I wasn't, that would be a way of putting me down. As for not being able to play with those other guys i'd beg to differ.

He's on the team and is looking forward to playing basketball for utm:). Talk to him yourself. He will get on here soon and tell you himself I promise. As for you dcchoctaws1 if you are redshirted you are apart of the team genius.

Is the 5 game suspention really what is needed to make him stop? Coaches will definetly look at this as a guidline. Do something wrong and miss a few games big deal. I mean if it was his first dumb mistake it would be different but come on just because you are a coach doesn't give you permission to do whatever you want. At school if we are late once you miss break, twice you miss it again but the third time they see you could care less about break so they stick you in iss(in school suspension). Maybe things work differently in the real world where you can do whatever and get away with it. I thank butch for all the good memories but he's hurt this team as much as he has helped it. DC will go to state no matter who coaches so it doesn't really matter!

that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard just because he looked at the wrong people at practice and past a few good people doesn't mean i don't like the guy. He is a good coach but if he keeps it up he'll flush all dc sports down the drain.
