Seems to me that thier yardages are about the same, but look at touchdowns. Clay has almost twice as many. Hey it doesn't matter who is better it's all in the team you play for. Since no one has heard of Jo Byrns and Trousdale is known of then we don't get any respect. I am not going to say Clay should win over some of these kids but he should have been nominated above Dillehay

You listen here buddy. I know what clay's stats are, my dad does the stats for the team. I also have talked to one of my Fraternity brothers who went to Trousdale and what he said about Dillehay's numbers were they same as I was hearing else where, and guess they don't match Clay's. Your stats are not updated past the first round of the playoffs. If he played Jo Byrns's schedule he would not have any better numbers. Clay only played one entire game before the playoffs and didn't play very many times in the fourth quarter. He could have had better stats but our coach doesnt do like yours and run the score up on folks. Don't try to say he could have done better because he isn't here and his numbers aren't as good. Yeah dillehay is still playing now but yall will lose to UC too.

I agree. This has been a big year for the team, the school, and the communities. Yall brought a lot of excitment to everyone and we are all proud of the team. Hopefully next year we can be back to the same spot. Good luck to next years team.

Yeah Union City played well and they are very good. Good luck against Trousdale Co. i think yall will win. Jo Byrns made a few mistakes and Union City made them pay for it. UC was the better team and it showed (though they are not 20 something points better).

They are not as talented as Clay. Trousdale's Quarterback is good but not as good as Clay. If it wasn't for the name (Trousdale Co.) he wouldn't be nominated. He doesn't have the numbers and his team's record is not any better either.

Tuck I understand your passion but maybe you better let us do the talking and you do the playing. You just let us argue about this. We need you worrying more about the game and not what folks are saying on here. Thats all people like me have to do is talk about the game because we can no longer play. Do you not recall a couple of years ago when they won the state championship. They moved up a level this year and they have some adjusting to do. Not to make excusses for them because i really don;t care, all I am saying is that they were terrible when they started and now they are pretty good. Who cares if they had a bad year. Nothing to with the fact.

Yeah it is about talent not whether yall have won games the past two years or not. Trousdale is not near the team this year that they have been in the past. Jo Byrns is pretty darn good this year and so is the quarterback Mr. Head.

I know the coach would not forget to recommend him being that it is his uncle. He knows better than that.

Um actually CPA stunk when they first started in the mid 90's and now they are good.

Alright, Jo Byrns has been counted out all year long. No one figured they would do this good and I even thought myself they would lose a few. I will agree Jo Byrns has not played a very tough schedule this year, but they still got the job done and very convincingly. Yall are saying that UC has played all of these 2A and 3A schools in the paast and that they are tested. SOme of these seniors have started or played for three years. They had to play DCA, CPA, Ezell Hardin, FRA, Davidson Academy for the past two years. Now when these teams are constantly compeating for the state championship, you are playing good competition. Now Jo Byrns is playing average 1A schools that are not loaded like they have been. THey are playing the teams that they are suppose to play. People have said the entire playoffs that once Jo Byrns played someone good they would lose. Well all three teams were suppose to be pretty good with three of the top runningbacks in the state. Did Jo Byrns fall? No sir. So don't think that we can't play football. I don't see how anybody with any knowledge could say this game is going to be a blow out. Both teams are good and only one can win. That makes for an exciting and close football game.

Clay Head should win. He has 30 TD's and only 3 picks. He has passed for around 2,000 yards and ruched for around 600 yards and about 10 TD's. He has great stats and an undefeated team. You can;t match that with any other player in 1A. Not to mention he starts defense and plays on special teams as well.
