I hope you aren't banking on that. If Cantrell is healthy then the game changes for Maplewood. HC won't be able tee off on Simpson and it should open up the passing game for Motley, Parks and Bowins. There's some really great talent on both teams. I'm trying to visualize the game and the score keeps changing in my mind. One moment I think Maplewood will win, the next I think HC will win. I actually attended Hillsboro, I just happen to know a good team when I see it. Second, have you even looked at Maplewood's schedule? ??? I'm not sure if I understand your post. Who said that you guys would throw in the towel because Maplewood is big and fast? Go back and read the previous posts. I was responding to that.

First, I didn't need to pull any data, just like you said any "logical/analytical" person could go on coach-t and find it for themselves. Second, I think your panties were in a wad. Third, why are you comparing Maplewood's defense to Melroses? The two have nothing to do with each other. I understand HC put up 27 on Melrose, but teams match up differently and they have different personnel. That why the "a def b and b def c so a is better that c" argument is crap.

If anything, that is what's going to beat Maplewood. They are very agressive and their lineman get up the field very well, but they are very open to mis-direction and screens. They can often be un-disciplined as well which is why I think this will be a very close game.

I can make that statement because I have that right. It's my opinion. I take in a lot of high school football and I know a good defense when I see it. I don't have a dog in the hunt to be honest with you. I think it will be a good game but I think Maplewood will win. You can say hillsboro turned the ball over 6 times, but you can also say that Maplewood caused them to turn the ball over 6 times. Maplewood is bigger and faster than you think, not to mention they are very athletic at the skill positions. By the way, nobody will put up that many points against that Maplewood defense. So practice what you preach my friend. Just as you said "so if you don't know much about HC, don't say nothin about what the outcome of this game will be", most of your fans haven't seen Maplewood play, so don't make such ignorant statements.
