Oh. Well remember when shaq and kobe played together before phil came and coached them, they didnt win, a good coach comes in and wins. Now I know they don't have a lot of talent on the team now, and especially the ones that I'm sure you're referring too, just put their problems on everyone else. There are a few girls on that team that could be better, with a coach that demands improvement. In the past several years no one could pick the number 1 seed of the district but they could always pick the last place for the girls and that was Culleoka. That is the reason this is even being discussed, I just wished the administration would have been embarrassed by it a long time ago and made a change prior to now.

I believe this comment was already made on the boys board. Yea, it was. I would like for you to check the addresses of the players I believe only one person it out of zone. Anyways, rhs I understand that there are one maybe two people on Culleoka's team that think their daughter is the best. And I'll say there is SOME talent on the girls team and past girls team, and it takes a good coach to get it out of the girls, and obviously if a good coach is not present no talent will be visible.

Well I figure I might as well throw my two cents worth in. I know most of the girls on the team pretty good, and most of the players that have quit due to the coaching or other reasons. Last year after the season was over more than seven girls came off of the roster that did not include seniors that graduated. And I believe the girls are so used to losing, thats why they don't care anymore after being used to it. And yeah as culleokarep says me and him both know there is a condition and weight training problem with their workout, and daily practices. As far as administration goes I hope they are asking theirself why they down graded coaches, from Eady to Crabtree. But I'd like to say goodluck to coach Sharp and the girls the rest of the season.

Yea its always something. I was not at the game but it sounds like a typical game for the raiders making excuses, except somehow they managed to win. Yea the best dunkers in the south wouldn't have traveled on a break away, matter of fact the worst dunkers probably wouldn't have traveled, but if I say that I don't know what I would classify them as. The next topic the Richland fans are going to have is the best stealers in the south. Just a thought but please don't go through with it.

I was at the Culleoka and CA game and I would say that the refs called some things that shouldn't have been called. I remember the first play of the game Vasek spun one time on the low block CA's post never fell off balance or anything and they called a charge. Personally talking to people around the area they all think the same about playing at CA, and that was previously stated. But Culleoka guys didn't want to win bad enough and didn't give the effort to blame it on anyone but theirselves.

Yea thats it. I'm also jealous about ya'lls record too. But I can dunk and people on "my team" can dunk also.

Congrats on your first post. Hey Richland did ya'll hear that, ya'll could have had the 3 best dunkers in the "south" on one team, and still have a losing record. Don't tease the Raiders like that talking about another high riser.

If I recall correctly Richland got on here complaining about their coach, every loss seemed to be his fault. So don't try saying that another team is making excuses. And by the way if ya'll are planning on dunking on Roger you might want to change your plans, maybe get a few dunks in during warm ups so you can show everyone how good you are at dunking, probably be the only chance you get like every other game I've seen.

I bumped this post up to prove that someone from Richland claims they have the best dunkers in the "south." I don't understand what the south is qualified as. Ya'll might be the best dunkers in south Lynnville, but anything else absolutely not. And if these guys are such great dunkers why dont they just dunk at will when they want every game, it sounds to me like ya'll are just going out there to dunk not to win, well I guess I could understand knowing the team ya'll represent.

Yea.. I'm wondering if the Richland "highrisers" will be in the McDonald's dunk contest this year? I doubt it too. I've seen Richland play numerous times since I've been apart of basketball, and I've seen a few dunks in their games, but the people who dunked it never seemed to be wearing a Raider jersey. But self promotion is pretty good, so keep it up.

Someone denied Richland followers as saying yall was the best in the "south." First what does the South qualify as. I don't know if ya'll have ever heard of Brandan Wright, Young from Mitchell, Micah Williams, or Wayne Chism. Those are just to name a few in the "south" that can dunk better than anyone from Richland will ever be able to. Go watch one of their games and see a good dunker.

Culleoka came out flat, and the whole game they didn't play with much intensity. It was a rough game the whole night. CA is always a hard place to hit shots at and play. Not having one of their starters was probably in Culleoka's mind, and no one stepped up and produced more. CJ played a great game. Congrats on the win CA, maybe it will be a different story when its played in Culleoka.

Sounds to me like they always find a way to lose. And yeah someone made a topic as the best dunkers in the south or something of the sort and they voted 2 guys from Richland. I'll try to find it and bump it up. Mt. Pleasant is a good team and the game went the way it should have I'm sure.

I'm just wondering is the Richland followers going to post every time Richland has a game? If so I can't wait to read more, they never seem to be biased. But I can't blame them I would follow the girls team instead of the boys. Most teams are the other way around.

Well just let me say congrats on the big win over culleoka, you showed them. I think someone posted the same thing bout the boys team except they was on the losing end, works both ways i guess.

Who did you say was going to match up with Vasek, someone from CA? Goodluck ya'll better run a zone and just hope Culleoka dont hit three's like they did the other night when Richland tried that. I'm guessing Ingram will be guarding Mario, that should be fun to watch, both are good players. Goodluck.

I would have to agree with culleokarep, I don't believe anyone can stop Culleoka's post. And over at that beautiful gym CA has everyone knows its hard to play there. I'm going to say Culleoka by 8.

As far as the Richland and Culleoka game goes, I believe Richland gave everything they had. It seemed to me they shot well over 65% the whole game. I don't know what else you could ask for, you can sit on here and hope to shoot 85% but thats not going to get you anywhere, last night was a closer game than it should have been. The refs were bad, but consistent. And the other region has Wayne Co., Summertown, Mt. Pleasant, Perry Co. in some order those are usually toward the top.

Richland always seems to play Culleoka close especially when they start closing their eyes and shooting 3 feet behind the three point line. But since it is at Culleoka Im going to say that Culleoka gets the easy win. Culleoka by however long they leave their starters in.

The best player on the court tonight will be wearing a Culleoka jersey. The last time I checked Demario is ranked 4th in the state in his class. Anyways not here to argue just thought I would let you know the game went into 4 OTs last year not 3. This game is going to be decided by big plays and who can make a late run and get momentum at the end.

If he is over rated then why did ya'll go zone, and why did ya'll deny him the ball? Let me think, because no one on the team could guard him one on one. It's not all about the points, he runs that floor starts the offense. Cheap shots, saw a few 34 did throw a cheap shot i guess he had to get the player off of him some how, ya'lls 6'6 post man (that didnt have much luck guarding Culleoka's 6'1 post) hacked a few guys to the floor I remember one imparticularly. It's a rough game we only saw half of it too, we wasnt playing.

Wow, if it isn't one thing its another, Culleoka just be cheating everyone they play, they pay off the refs and now people from all over the state are playing for them. Culleoka by 7.

Excellent post, I do believe it must have been volunteer work. But I'm pretty sure the Independence "fans" were commenting about being paid more on the side. And the fouls were lopsided because Independence couldn't keep their hands off of Culleoka. Trying to deny #10 the ball is one thing but trying to pushing him because you can't guard him is another.
