  1. Nice statistics there bud...West averages about 25ppg. So whether you were using a hyperbole to make Davis sound good or you just don't know facts, it sounded stupid. They may have contained West, but at least get ur figures right. And good job to Harpeth for their exceptional Defense too.
  2. Sycamore lashed the Indians by more than 20pts. Dunn's 17 didn't really extend too much of the effort in Central's attempt to pull an upset. The war eagles had them from the start, building a 12pt 1st Quarter lead to a 22pt Victory. Too bad the indians didnt contend better, it would have made out for a heck of a story.
  3. Well, until this week is over, we'll just focus on sycamore's challenge with Gallatin. Worry about the Green Wave tonight, then brush off the Tigers on Friday. Then prep up, for the end of the season coming could be rough ride out.
  4. SC in this one. After a horrible night at Harpeth, I think they know to get the job done against Cheatham. If they want to keep up with the War Eagles and the Indians, they gotta take this one.
  5. In my opinion, here are my top Contenders: Bolivar McMinn Liberty Mitchell
  6. We hear ya from VU. Prayers from the sc community to Wavo as well.
  7. Jake West can def. handle the ball better than most. He is probably the most premier in the district. Wallace is okay, Wojtal is good too. Moulton has talent with the ball similar with Lohin, but Moulton isnt as good a handler only a better shooter.
  8. Yea...real nice there...looks like the rowdy 'retards' took yall out of the game. I will say that the Harpeth fans could get into the heads of SC, but it may not take that for the Indians to steal a Victory. The Rebels need to focus if they want to beat out a challenging Harpeth club.
  9. Bramlett has a well-prepared team with good talent on both ends of the floor. Harpeth has a real good team that is certainly well-coached too. This game will definitely be one to see, and might come down to the wire. I won't give a score, but I'll say Harpeth in a tight one.
  10. According TheTennessean.com Sycamore 44 Creekwood 35 Moulton had 18pts (3 3pt), Scott had 8pts, Lohin had 7pts Ross had 14pts
  11. West goes for 26 and the Rebs roll 55 to 30. Great game tonight. SC started out hot, then got 21 more in the 4th to give them a 25pt victory. Hargis was on fire tonght as well, shooting 3/3 beyond the arc, and a season-high 16pts. Good job to Bramlett and the boys. And to say that Jake had an 'alright' night is an understatement. He scored above his average, and he penetrated through the Tiger scheme. So, it was a good night for him as well as for the rest of his team.
  12. I see SC takin this one, unless the Tigers can startin playin against the Rebel defense and contain Bramlett's offense. Could be an upset, but I doubt it.
  13. It's good to see Farmer back. Sycamore is a good team regardless of whether he is there or not, but they are more complete with him back. It is also good for this mess to get out of the way and have premier focus for his team.
  14. Great Job Rebs. You couldn't take on Sycamore because of the weather, so you took out Big Sandy on a good night instead. Nice job Bramlett. You and your players did your thing. West dropped 28, Wojtal with 10, and Hargis with 10. They penetrated the Defense, and executed the Offense. Big Sandy may not be up to par for Stewart Co, but the Rebels needed this one to bounce back from the Harpeth disappointment.
  15. All those players are great....but Great job to Stewart Co by producing a great ball club and an awesome player in Jake West.
  16. Great Job Coach B. The 4pt. edge moves them to 6-1 in the district, with 2 very crucial and tough games to play within the next week alone. West definitely led the Rebel squad with his 41pt. performance, but don't forget or under-estimate the SC Defense and penetration. You've got good players on this team, but they only fall in the mix of great players in this district. Taking it one game at a time is a nice idea and good aspect to follow. You should never get ahead of yourself, especially with a district title on the line. I look to see a well-pressured game this Friday, and an even more tough & anticipated matchup on the 17th with the War Eagles seeking revenge.
  17. I say McEwen should have an easy win here. The Irish of Houston Co. haven't proven anything this season. If you glance back to this past week, the Irish took another beating from the SC Rebels (3rd time this season); and if you look further back to a little over a week ago, the Warriors defeated Stewart Co. (2nd time this season) by 7. Of course you never know what the outcome could be, but I say that it should be another W for the McEwen Warriors.
  18. The Rebs have a tough week ahead, but Bramlett and the boys of SC are not gonna be a push over. Just ask the Houston Co. Irish and Creekwood Redhawks, they'll tell you the same. Harpeth has a real good team, so that'll definitely spice up that matchup. I won't say who is gonna take, i'll just say to keep an open mind.
  19. This should be a good game. Both teams have gotten better since their previous matchup. McEwen will be tough to handle, and especially in their own gym, but Stewart Co. has been proving themselves all season. The Rebs have not played the same since their meeting on Nov. 21st in Dover. The Warriors will contend to sweep Coach B and the rebs, but not without a great fight. I look to see an interesting game in McEwen. Both teams are doing good, so it's hard to say who takes it.
  20. Another good win for Bramlett and the Rebs. Nice way to end up at the break. 9-2 is tremendous, especially when you look at their previous seasons. West put up around 28, I think, and the Rebs Defense man-handled the game all night. After the first quarter, the game was over. Horrible night for the Irish. The luck of the irish has seemed to change a little bit this season, and in the books, in this bitter-sweet rivalry.
  21. As i see it, and according to you (blunwhitetribe), Sycamore ppl are making up excuses against 'no-name' teams. That makes it worse for the War Eagles. Some of them jus can't accept the fact that a loss is a loss, and take it how it is. If they did realize it then they would know that a game against Middleton, Mcminn Cent. or any of those teams would be horrible. Sycamore may be good against most of their schedule, but they would get smashed in a matchup such as one of the previous listed teams.
  22. Ok, for one thing, Catfish is Not saying that Sycamore has to play 'Dover High School', he is pointing out the town of which is location to the game. Also, BTW, alan bowers needs to start taking showers. nobody cares about that. By saying that does not make him look 'awesome' and 'best bballa'. So, don't say that anymore.
  23. I don't know, I sure hope they do. It just seemed that SC didn't have their heads in the game last night. With the ludicrous student section, they seemed to have some control with the rebs. If everybody focuses on basketball, and does their thing, Stewart Co. will bounce back in fine fashion.
  24. Waverly will probably fall to Stewart Co. in this one. The Rebels are definitely off to a great start and may be too strong for the Tigers. SC's Defense will be a key strength in this game, and they will surely attack on Offense. So, it looks to be a good District game in Dover.
