  1. Burn. Sorry CosmicCommander but these guys are speaking more valid than you are.
  2. Lewis County should have no problem with this game. However, Waverly shouldn't be a pushover.
  3. It is really good to see Stewart Co. hosting a playoff game. They are known to be no match against Goodpasture over the years, but maybe we'll see a pretty good game in Dover this time. I hope so. Best of luck Rebels!
  4. Whatever helps you sleep at night pops. I'm no camden fan but the waverly tigers will not keep the Lions from taking the region crown, Again. wildcat knows what he's talking about. Then again, you live and die on coacht, by now you should know more than any of us.
  5. Well i'm a Stewart County grad. Gotta let those that wanna yap jus yap. But give credit where credit is due.
  6. I like the former West TN powerhouse Huntingdon Mustangs myself, however im going to take the Tigers to get the W here.
  7. Long time SC guy here. Rivalry still runs deep. The Rebels are playing smart on both sides of the ball right now, look to see them roll to win #8. I put the spread line of -27 in favor of Stewart County. SCHS Rebels - 40 HCHS Fighting Irish - 13 Also, suggestions of places to eat around Dover: Dover Grille Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant And there are plenty of pizza places /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. I'll give credit where credit is due. The Rebs may not have had the toughest of schedules thus far, but they've played beyond par. The defense has held, and the offense punched in what it needed to. As long as they keep the focus game by game, they'll show up to play. I'll tip my hat to the boys in black & gold.
  9. Good win in OT for the Cubs, though hah Statebound is speaking truth. West had an incredible game including 6 downtown shots that helped him reach 35 for the night. West and Lancaster seem to be the workforce on offense for the Rebels, wish I didnt see it so bleak in my mind about that. Rival game that had you on the edge until the very end. Good job guys, just keep moving foward
  10. Yeah they have come out fighting, but def. not lettin their guard down. They arent playing 'Fantastic', but doing good enough to win their ball games. It'll be tougher when they face off with the Cheatham County trio. Im not knocking Creekwood, because they have a firm club that is sure to show up every game..but I still think Harpeth and Sycamore are top notch in the District. Though I do very well hope the Rebels can keep up the Great work
  11. Stewart County has a fine facitlity. With upper level balcony seating on both sides..only a few years old, still looks great
  12. The SCHS and Creekwood game was an indication of more great games to be played, and not just from these two teams. After watchin an ill-faded West play his guts out, a 'scrappy' (as yall say) rebel bunch come together, a Defense step up, an offense penetrate..I have hopes for a move from Bramlett and his guys. Both teams played it close all night: 7-6 red hawks after 1. 17-14 rebels halftime. 30-28 rebel leads after 3. Then the rest was like a back and forth defensive scheme..quite interesting. Both teams deserve props for making it a battle through and through. West & Hargis' OT FT's were critical for the decisive victory, and Lancaster stood firm with 18pts and a great effort up and down the court. In the same respect, Jeppsen and Elliott for Creekwood helped push the red hawk pressure all night. It wasn't a high scoring affair, but had all the reason for a thrilling contest.
  13. Harpeth just has a well-balanced ball team that is sure to create problems for all of us in the District. Whether it's 0,1 or a few guys sittin out, the Indians bring it every game
  14. Being at the SC-Northwest game 11/17: student section forced to stay on second level bleachers. I think that is rediculous for the school officials to make them do so. But, even so, they did a great job ALL night long cheering and screaming and having a good time..they even tailgated before the game. This student section, in my opinion, is definitely one of the best in the District. -->look out HHS and SHS(let me state that these two have outstanding student sections) Now on to CCHS..at least for the MBA-CC game 11/20: student section wasnt what I thought it was going to be. I dont know, maybe when MBA jumped to an early 23-4 lead it muzzled the students. I mean sure they made a little noise late in the game when the Cubs came back within 4 or 6 pts, but I heard the section was pretty good. Maybe I'm ahead of myself, district games are coming
  15. HC has some shooters and can force pressure and attack, although it's not too consistent. The Rebels can run the floor and hit the boards, but they need to box out better and solidify their defensive stance. I think it will come down to a 4th quarter scrap. Whoever scores off of the other's missed opportunities will come away with the W.
  16. Now I gotta say that the Cheatham county schools have that pep in their step, and it's great for their school pride. I will say that Harpeth might have the edge over Sycamore, yet the War Eagles are pretty impressive themselves. Cheatham should be alot better this year The Rowdy Rebs are the new edition of student sections. SCHS use to have some fine teams roll through that county, real fine. They brought quite a crowd, all the time..it almost got uncomfortable, having so many people in that old gymnasium. But the Spirit was def. there, in more than just the students. Now, the Rebs have gotten back to that kinda stage, therefore the Students are making themselves known again. So I of course I have to say the Rowdy Rebels are up there with the rest
  17. Well from what I've heard, the Vikings have got an athletic and fast group of juniors and seniors returning. It'll be a great game no doubt this Friday, im sure the Rebels will come out hard like last season. ..also, ive been hearing about the Rowdy Rebs already..gonna be another exciting year
  18. I suspect you (dzone) also see the real rebel squad representing in fine fashion..best of luck mckenzie..go get that Gold Ball
  19. Yes they surely are! I look foward to traveling to M'boro and catching another great game by the Rebs. They have done an outstanding job thus far for 7A
  20. hah, that should test some waters It'll be interesting I guess. Although I lost alot of respect after last season's post-game 'episode', I will try and be optimistic for change in that school's behavior..though I will def. not expect it.
  21. Very true BC. SCHS has alot better chemistry with West dominating on the floor. But Once he's shut down it seems like a major slack in Team play. The Rebs have some excess players that can play some ball, but they def. need to pick it up alot more this year when West struggles. Anyways, back to the discussion at hand, West is a premier player with great skill and potential. He'll be in the D-mvp race all season as long as he's healthy. Overall, best of luck to all the players and stay injury free
  22. And of course it's not the real order. It's obvious, at least to me, that HHS is the premier team of the D11-2A. But, the War Eagles still pose a pretty good threat to any and all.
  23. Okay, we'll see come gametime. Cheatham is goin to need to play their hearts out..last season is definitely not forgotten. . especially the way their fans reacted following one of the games @ CCHS. Horrible sportsmanship and total disgust for their school. The Cubs may have a more challenging team this year, but they'll need it if they want to be a contender against the likes of their county rivals, As well as the Rebels.
