  1. Cheatam Co. and Stewart Co. have really exciting student participation in their games. It's pretty fun to watch. And it is always good to see students cheering on their team to victory. I know there are alot of really good student sections out there, but I just wanted to give props to these 2 schools' student involvement.
  2. McEwen takes this one, easy. TCA don't have anything on the Warriors (6-0). It's the sad, yet totally honest truth. McEwen is just too powerful for the Cougars (1-2, I think). An upset could be said, but not going to happen in this matchup.
  3. Well, looks like Bramlett came out with another win. Good job Rebs [4-1]. West poured 29pts and Lancaster added 16 to help surge SC 58-41 over the Yellow Jackets of Fairview.
  4. I agree with Kingsize12, the Rebs need to utilize both West & Lancaster. Wojtal, Wallace & Hargis need to keep up the good D and shoot their 3's and jumpers. This team has the perimeter if they want it, and they can sure post-up and penetrate the inside game too.
  5. Well, I know some about Fairview but not enough to say too much. But i'll say one thing...Bramlett works with a good offense. This team can post, penetrate, drive, as well as shoot the long ball. For example, what happened a couple nights ago in Erin. The game was won off of forceful penetration and a 3pt finale. Not saying that's what they do, but they have the talent to put forth in that option. If Fairview can match it, or control that level, then it makes out for a tight game in Dover.
  6. Last night was a well-played, competitive rival game that just added to the storybook between these two schools. Houston Co. owned the Rebels in the first half, but Stewart Co. man-handled the Irish in the second with hardnose Defense and impressive offense. The last second shot was quite a scene. Both teams played good, but this time black and gold struck real gold in the end over a strong Irish team.
  7. They have good defense and leadership, but both are not singled / credited to only two players. This team appears to have those qualities within all the players.
  8. Stewart County is the taker on this one. A 3-1 start for Bramlett and the Rebels, not too bad at all. Given their previous seasons, I say this is the one coach has been waiting for. Fairview is at a 1-4 start, and probably not ready to take on the squad from Dover. With penetration and SC's persisting defense, it should be a good win for the Rebels.
