Good class so far. We should add some mid-major signings later this year. There are still a lot of good players that haven't signed anywhere yet.

Does anyone in this dicussion know anything about golf. I don't think the topic was to put your friends' names on here. Let's actually talk about the good golfers.

Good game tonight. Carter really dominated just about the whole game, but Kingston's QB kept them in the game in the second half. Kingston capitalized on some Carter mistakes, and that led to the close score. I hate that it seems like Carter is backing into next week's game. I would have rather seen them finish strong.

Well put, but as a sidenote, Carter has been 9-1 for the last two years during the regular season. In the last 21 games, they have three losses- 2 to Fulton, and 1 to the eventual state champion in 2005, Livingston Academy.

It appears that we don't have a quarterback controversy after all.

Good call solomon. Carter had Livingston beaten last year and just came up short. I totally agree, Stanton and Gorman are huge playmakers at receiver and balance each other out well. Carter has a better chance with the double threat.

I agree, hornet. I think that if Bounds is physically atleast 90%, he should play. True, we haven't seen Stanton except in limited action, but you have to like what we have seen so far. I'm hoping that we don't run some type of alternating possesion type two QB system. That doesn't bring out the best in each QB.

Officially is there a QB controversy? Sunday may be a little early to say that, but all we know is that #11 has performed every time he has been asked to. The starter has struggled in the past two weeks, but he is a senior and led the team very well for 8 weeks of the season. Who knows? I don't...

Kingston is the team that you hear the least out of in Region 2-3A. Carter now may have a quarterback controversy going into the first round. Should be a good game. Any opinions?

Correction- Huff did qualify for state. He made a good comeback on the second day. My fault.

volnative, I'm not sure that you went to the right game. None of your facts are straight. Weak Carter D? I haven't seen the stats, but there had to be atleast 5-6 sacks, 7 INTs, and very minimal postive yards. The scoreboard also shows how weak Carter's D was- 0 points. Improved quarterback. Don't get me wrong #16 is good, but how can you replace one of the most successful qb's in Carter history? I'm not sure you were at Carter-Gibbs.

Talk about looking past this game? I think the homecoming issue keeps everyone's heads in the game. Everyone talks about the game all week and when Friday night comes, everyone is ready to play. I mean how can you not get excited when guys dress like girls and there are movie stars roaming the halls all week. Its like the sideline of a USC game inside CHS.
