Just want to wish Lawrence county GOOD LUCK tonight and hope Katie Hill gets back on her feet soon. I hate it so much for her that she is out for tournament action her senior year. You have brought us 4 great years of watching you play Katie and are going to be missed!

You are absolutely right Shelbyville does have a good team and I would never take that away from any team BUT the problem I have is not so much with the teams as it is with the fans. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the so called "adults", and I use that term loosely, acts the way they act. That 60+ year old women flipping off a bunch of 16-17 year old kids is just about one of the most stupid things I have ever seen. And I guess I do have a problem with the officiating in Shelbyville, when a kid (FC Stovall ) gets his legs taken out from under him underneath his goal and NOTHING is called on Shelbyville but when FC so much as breaths on a Shelbyville player they get a foul called??? And for the police to let the shelbyville student section get away with the things they say but other student sections get taken out of the school for making a harmless remark, come on? how fair is that.

Thanks, we wished we had won too but your right Shelbyville does have a good team, and you are also right that you can't get a fair called game at Shelbyville. We stayed after our game last night and watched the FC boys and Shelbyville boys game and there were so many fouls called against FC that were not called against Shelbyville, it is so pathetic over there and that will never change. Not to mention the Shelbyville fans are AWFUL! We sat beside the FC student section and there was an older lady from Shelbyville sitting right beside them and she obviously didn't like the fact that they were cheering for their own team so she just started flipping the kids off! It really showed Shelbyville's lack of maturity.

I have to say that I know Coach Moore very well and I know Vanessa very well. I am sure the argument between the 2 got very heated BUT I have to agree that you don't just quit on your team this late in the season. I have a son that plays high school ball and they do get yelled but this is not elementary school ball, they need to grow up and stop expecting their parents to go in and try to take care of everything for them.

This is the story that I have heard (from a pretty reliable source) Lateria had an attitude at practice and coach Moore told her to leave practice, she left and her "foster mother" which happens to be an Armstrong set up a meeting with the coach. There was some heated words exchanged between the two and coach Moore felt threatened by what Mrs.Armstrong said so she pressed charges against her. The principle informed Mrs.Armstong that she could no longer attend the games so LaTeria advised since her only support system could no longer come to the games then she was going to quit. She talked with her coach at Western Kentucky and explained the situation to her and she supposidly understood.

Has anyone heard about a "shake up" @ Columbia with the coach and some of the girls and/or parents?

I am trying to mapquest how to get to Franklin Co. from Columbia for the game against Lawrence Co. tomorrow night. Does anyone have their address or easy directions for me to get there?

The JV team from last year was very good, but then the majority of them quit. I know a couple of the freshmen play some varsity. I just hope they keep up the momentum and keep winning. Did anyone see the game last night? Lawrenceburg was on fire! The final score was 83 35. I believe Lawrenceburg boys team will be awesome for a couple of years. Has anyone seen them play and if so what do you think?
