m-town state champs

Very impressed with the vikings. Sain is a beast and could be an all-state selection if he keeps his play up. I would not be surprised if Humboldt won their district with their talent. Congrats to M-Town, though. The game was uptempo with a lot of action. Good luck to both teams this year.

Will everyone please quit hating on Middleton... UC played a heck of a ballgame...It was kind of the state championship game before anyone one of the teams made it there... I mean the gym was packed, sure there was more middleton fans than UC fans because we where at home... It was just back and forth all game long... As far as weddle goes I'm sure that he is a better player than he looked last night... But the main reason that he didn't score is because Middleton put defence on him like he has never seen before... But I have to give it to him he showed up when it counted the most at the end of the game with a last second shot... You can say that the refs were bad but they made bad calls for both teams included a very questionable ten second call at the end of the game... I just don't see how UC can get the ball with 17 seconds on the clock and not get out of the back court and call time out with 4.5 seconds on the clock and it not be a ten second call... But enough talking about the refs UC played a great game and came out on top... I play for Middleton and when that buzzer went of and Weddle hit that shot it was the most heartbraking thing anyone will ever go through especially for seniors... But anyway UC represent us good at state and bring it home for the west

You know bulldog coach, Middle College beat us at memphis... But the game was within 6 points the whole game until the fourth quarter with about 4 minutes left in the game... I'm not taking anything away from Middle College--they are a good team... But you know, to get what you want, you have to go through M-Town, and ask anyone---it isn't an easy task. Manassas wanted the same thing, and after last night, we gave them 101 reasons to think otherwise. Didn't Manassas beat you guys? Oh, and by the way---we have class....a "Class" A State Championship.

Middleton beat Manassas last night 101-46... This is a huge district win for the tigers... They have finally come around and started to earn some respect back...

The Middleton Tigers are not playing very good basketball right now... They still have a great record of 15-5 and some coaches would be happy with that... But Middleton lost to Middle College in a game that was really close until the last 3 minutes then middleton just gave up... They also lost to a good Manassas team... I think that one thing that is wrong is that they are taking teams not to be that good because of their records.... But the teams in Memphis are playing tough games every night and the records doesn't mean anything down there...My question is what does everyone think of middleton now that have lost a couple of games... Can they still do it.....

It will be a great game but Middleton will win by 10......

Middleton has got to be the number 1 team in single a......If you compare their schedule to the other teams listed here then you will see where I am coming from.....After all they are the defending state champs!!!!!!!!!!!

Bolivar Coach said this in this week's paper"Middleton could have very easily beaten us with wayne chism in the lineup," "They are just that good".....Middleton fans is not the only one that thinks Middleton is good.....

I'm glad that everyone in here is hating on middleton......But guess what middleton won again last night they beat Mcnairy for the second time in the year....Now the 9-0 tigers are getting ready for ripley ms again....and I see them winning this one and being 10-0 heading into the game with Bolivar sat....Oh yeah and just for the record this is what head coach rick rudisell from bolivar said about the last match-up.... "Middleton could possibly have beat us even with Wayne Chism on the floor,""They are just that good."

temple didnt play anybody last year. when you dont play anybody and you blow them out, those wins dont mean much. put temple in west tennessee with any number of teams' schedules and they would be just a mediocre team. face it, temple met their match--middleton ran them down and gave temple too many mismatches to deal with.

lake county won't get out of that region alive, especially with uc and humboldt in there. sorry falcons, you'll have to wait for another year.

that's what everyone thought with fayette-ware as well. middleton beat fayette-ware by 9 last week, and fayette-ware beat bolivar this past weekend.

Middleton and Bolivar play for the second time sat. night....Middleton won the first game by four points....The game is sold out and the crowd will be full of scouts.....Lots of pressure for both teams.....Bolivar is very hungry for a win after the lost last time to the Middleton....Middleton is looking to stay undefeated and claim all of the county bragging rights...Can they do it or will Bolivar be to much for them to handle this time around?????Let me know what everyone thinks.....

Forget what I said earlier the tickets went on sale at 11:00 and the game is already sold out at 11:30.. the game is not until sat. and all of the 1000 plus tickets have already been sold....Bolivar and Middleton round two...Lets get it on....

Yes... It is true that Middleton is already selling tickets for the game so if you want to get one you better get it quick.....As far as my predictions for the game....I think Middleton will win buy two or three it will be a close game......

The middleton tigers played ripley mississippi sat. Middleton won buy seven or eight points. Ripley had a 6-9 boy that has signed to go to Arkansas, and some really good guards. I just thought i would write and let everyone know that the defending class a state champs are still undefeated.. How long does everyone think it will last?????

Middleton beat Bolivar without Chism at Bolivar where they have only been beaten twice in the last three years. Middleton and Northside.... Middleton plays Bolivar again at home on December 17... If you will come i will personally buy you a ticket just where you can say you have seen middleton play... I hope that middleton and lake county meet up in sub-state... It is to good teams and would be interesting to see which one of us is wrong.... Who knows maybe we will still both be undefeated then and we can line em up and play!!!!!!!!!

Middleton lost five seniors last year... Three of them was starters... They got back most of their palyers including State MVP Marq Murden and other excellent players Chris Buggs, Al Mckinnie, Jamicheal Mckinnie, Johnnie Tate, and Cody Childers. They also have some great young players that can come off the bench and give quality minutes. Everyone is saying that Middleton has a better team than they did last year....

I would really enjoy seeing Bolivar and Lake County play. Bolivar would crush Lake County!!!!! I can't believe you say that Lake County is better than Middleton. Middleton is 6-0 right now and has already beaten Bolivar,Ripley Tn.,Adamsville,Mcnairy Central, Fayette Ware, and Lexington. Who has Lake County played nobody.. Ask Lake County what happened to them in summer camp. Tony Tyler was their and they still got beat by 20.....
