Shaggy - you say Clinton doesn't quit...but do they ever get started??? The last few years against OR, you wouldn't think that they did. You talk about OR recruiting...your starting corner last year was a former ridger who couldn't pass his classes, TRANSFERRED to clinton and was playing the next fall. His little sister was still at OR playing basketball and lived in OR. Two of your basketball players were OR products as well who couldn't cut it in the classroom. I know for a fact that three starting DBs at OR were contacted during the period of between Lussier and Stevens about moving over to Clinton by a certain former OR assistant who is now the head dragon. People in glass houses should not throw stones.

in defense of the OL - didn't they make should pretty big changes to their scheme - takes more than a few days to learn a new scheme...there is an old saying in football...you can't play aggressive and confused at the same time...the OR OL will get it done as always

after reading a couple of threads about coaching vacancies, could one of Gray's 3 offers be from Shelbyville??? Just a hunch. Any one else have thoughts on this guess?

I am going to take a stab at the mystery candidate from east TN. What about Ron Gray from Bearden. He is rumored to have 3 offers at the time. He hails from middle Tn and still has family in the area. Maybe he wants to get closer to them?
