They will definitely have to score more than 12 points in the first half to even keep it close... LA is coming off a big loss to David Lipscomb so they are going to be on a mission.. I still think PC has the edge playing at home.. if they are leading going in to the fourth they should win.. But they will have to contain Dunn and Ramsey.. If they can do that then they should be just fine

Sounds like to me that Byrdstown just brings out the worst in every ref.. Is it something in the air or the water?

I don't think LA is struggling in their past two games I just think that they were beaten by 2 teams that played better than they did... LA has a very talented team but I think Pickett Co has the edge.. It is really hard to win at PC.. Their gym is really tough to play in.. I think if PC keeps it reasonable through 3 quarters I think they will win in the end.. But if they let LA get an early lead and don't take care of the ball taking bad shots and making poor decisions.. I think it may be the same outcome as it was at Livingston.

So Pickett wasn't supposed to beat LA @LA.. But they were supposed to beat Jackson Co. @ Pickett.. So I guess that means that makes JC look really good going into Pickett(where you're down 15 points when you walk in the gym) and beating the "PRE-SEASON FAVORITES" and then going into LA and beating a very talented and deep LA Wildcat team who beat Pickett by 12 in the same gym

If Jackson County wins region and Grace has to come to the boro I don't think they can pull another half court buzzer beater off like they did before... JC is playin really good ball right now and if the two teams were to play right now on a neutral site I would give JC the edge... I don't think people are giving JC enough credit.. Grace is good.. But JC had them by 2 with 3 seconds to go and McMasters threw up a prayer and banked it in from half court.. and that was the first game of the season.. So I hope my boys from the boro pull of the cinderella story that ya'll make them out to be.. Cause I've watched them play and they are more than capable of making an appearance in Murfresboro

Great game sorry I had to miss it but I listened to it on the radio.. JC came to play.. Battled through a starter founling out and 2 or 3 others with 3 and 4 fouls.. I think JC deserves credit for wining against a very talented and deep LA team @ LA at that.. Good win for JC now keep the momentum rollin boys.. people are begining to look at ya'll instead of over ya'll.. #22 still cheerin ya on!

I think JC will be ready to play.. They may have more trouble guarding the perimeter than the post.. JC played Grace earlier in the year whom had two pretty decent big men(one being McMasters) and I thought they habdled their own pretty well.. I may be wrong though but I don't think LA will dominate the post.. JC has been looking down low this year much more.. They have been dishing to the big men quite often and the big men have been making their presence known.. I think this game is going to be a very close nail biter.. and I can't wait to see the outcome.

I don't know much bout the other 2 teams thay beat in the tourney.. But Knox Halls has the 106th strength of schedule in the 114 teams in AAA.. and the only really good team they have played (Powell) is they only team to beat them besides LA.. So I don't think that means much.. I still think this will be a good game between these 2 teams.. but you are right its hard to play at LA and they do have the edge there but JC can still beat them I believe.

Jackson County is playin some good ball right now and Livingston is not that same invincible team they usually are.. But they are still good.. Who wins and why let's hear it.

I think you mean Morgan Hensley senator.. He has come out of no where and become a very important part of the blue devils success.. a bunch of players have stepped up this year.. Brandon (Bubba) Hopkins has really become a consistent 10 or 12 points for JC.. He is deadly from the mid-range.. Seth Lish has really stepped his post game up.. he has some really good stuff down low but he is finally learning to finish and its doing the blue devils well.. Kelly Denson has been Mr. Clean for the big blue bringing down the boards... Derek Loftis (Darnell Jenkins) has been a really good outside shooting presence for the blue devils.. He hit 2 big ones in the first half against cookeville last night.. Tyler Cassetty and Bradley Crowder both can beat you off the dribble and either finish at the rim or dish off for an assist.. and Kerley what can I say the boy has become a man.. he gives 110% night in and night out and is playing very well making all tourney in the nera white classic.. I'm tellin you what I wouldn't wanna play JC when they were clickin on every cylinder cause that would be a bad night.. But I hope they don't get ahead of themsleves..Keep playin hard and give it everything you got.. cause now that you're the team to beat you're gonna get every teams best.. So don't lay down.. Like ol' Hayburner( for those of you who know him) "Pour It On Em!... Eww! Eww! Eww!"

I agree very good game.. Jackson county was down 16-12 after one and then went up 20-16 into the second and never looked back.. They were up by as much as 10 at one point and played very good defense. My boys from the boro are playin some good ball.. Keep it going fellas.. #22 is cheerin ya'll on.

I agree with you senator.. Jenkins (#12 Station Camp) is a great shooter.. and he is a double threat.. When he couldn't get the outside shot against jackson co he took his defender down in the post and he pulled off some very nice post moves.. Kid is gonna go somewhere.. He can only get better and he's good right now.. like to know how Station Camp ends up in post season.

Pickett won't give anyone credit. They always have a reason for their defeat. Why won't they just say that they lost to a team that just wanted it more and outplayed them. It's ridiculous, I mean some nights you have it and some you don't and obviously they didn't and JC did. Of course I really don't care if they give my boys from the boro props or not cause I'm proud of them either way. But what would really put the icing on the cake would be to sweep PC on senior night and take the district. And I know its not impossible so keep working hard and make me proud. Hope PC and JC battle to the end. And hopefully whichever team wins the other team will congradulate the other. And Old School Baller, you are right where is "The Old Ball Coach" haha. If Pickett and Grace are towards the top then Jackson County should be up there too considering that they loss to Grace by a Carter McMasters half court buzzer beater and they beat PC at Pickett. So I think they deserve a little recognition

WOW! My boys from the boro finally gettin it done like I knew they could. Like I have said time and again JC isn't just a second place team, they play to win and I guess PC had to learn first hand. Winning at Pickett is almost near impossible. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to see it boys but I had to work.. but #22 was still cheerin ya'll on. I am very proud of my boys. Now that you have opened everyone's eyes its time to show everyone what kind of team you really are. Keep it up big blue. I'll be cheerin ya on from the sidelines.

As everyone has already seen the Blue Devils play this year, what is everyones opinion on this years outcome. This team has massive amounts of talent in every position. They have many ball handlers, they have outside shooters, they have workhorse type post players who give everything they got night in and night out. They even have a few players and can step inside the arc and knock down the mid range. They have the coaches. Even great managers. So whats it going to take to see the blue devils in the boro. They have alreay proved they can play with one of the top teams in chattanooga losing to grace by 2 on a half court buzzer beater. So the outcome is lookung bright for Coach Flynn and Coach Godwin and his boys

JCHS(jackson county high school) has a great team this year but can they go all the way???They have the experience they all have been there but can their coach handle it???

Yea and we will see how good Grace is because that is Jackson County's hall of fame game Nov. 17. Haha Tyler I think you're right.. Waterboy isn't for me either.

They might beat anyone from our region stats wise.. but you can never count a team out.. No doubt that Grace, Temple, and CSAS are very dominant teams but any team can have an off night.. I've seen it happen and its not impossible.. Clay wasn't expected to beat Temple last year but they came back from down 15 and won.. so don't tell me that it can't happen.

Clay is definitely not out of the picture.. they will compete no doubt.. but inexperience will be their downfall.. I know for a fact they won't be a team to be overlooked.. have some very capable guards that after a few games could bcome very deadly players.. not very much size but guards can control the tempo and potentially beat you with their quickmoves to the hoop and when you back off step back and knock down the trey.. I'm not convinced that they will be a contender for first but they are very capable of knocking off a top team if overlooked.. I would give a 3 or 4 positon.. I still think its going to be a dog fight between the bobcats and blue devils.. its not going to be easy to come to the boro and knock of the devils but likewise it won't be easy to knock off the cats in PC either.. Iknow both teams are tired of the talking and just want to play.. and to tell ya the truth i'm ready to watch them play.. hope my devils pull it out this year.. Come on boys #22 gonna be cheerin ya'll on from he stands.. Take it to the murphy for me

game to watch in 7A.. Pickett vs. Jackson... first may end up in a coin flip cause both are hard to beat at home.. unless there is a major slip up by either team then each could come out with only 1 loss in the district.. Wow its getting close... I'm ready to watch some basketball
