Siegel has 4 good running back or more. Caleb Harper, Pico Nance, Blair Jones, Gerald House. Kiss is the starter, no doubts in my mind. He had a bad scrimmage but he brings game experience. Siegel is 4 deep at quarterback also though with Kiss Mccann, Joe Ward and Tanner Whit. If Whit gets some size he will be a great quarterback

I have backed oakland since siegel was put out the whole way. I was real upset about this game to. Probably just about as much as some of you oakland fans. Now you wanna talk about some bush league baseball players, those cleveland boys hooting and hollering the whole time marcus was pitching was just insane and lacks class. You guys have a stud of a pitcher. Too bad states double elimination. You guys will get yours in state. Have fun hooting and holleringw ith your number 2 on the mound. Dont like TSSAA setup for baseball one bit. The best team cant always in one game, but can take 2 of 3 easily. Winning one game shows no pitching depth, but thats ok. Oakland you guys were the best team i saw play all year and I plan on attending state and still thinking that. 4 1a signees. Some very good juniors, possibly the best in the state in Tennyson Dodd. It was a great team and a great season. Im sorry that you guys couldnt prove that yall were the best in the state. Good luck to everyteam in state, may the best TEAM win.

Riverdale has a tendency of losing in state in recent history, Oakland as a tendency of getting there and winning. Oakland won two tournaments this year with the top teams in the state in them both. I dont remember riverdale being nationally ranked last year and having many commitments for D1 baseball. This Oakland team has both. I cheered for Riverdale everytime they had made state btw so no hard feelings there. But this Oakland team is a really good ball team. I think they can win state. I dont see how right now you can see anyone getting in Oaklands path. If Brett Wilson continues to pitch as well as he has then they have 3 excellent starters they can throw at you along with a deep lineup.

Breaking up a perfect game with a bunt is some garbage. If I were Oakland I would have DRILLED the next batter. They maintained composure though. Limbaugh I admire your intellegince on here, but road trips or not Oakland was going to beat the snot out of them. It was a ticked off team seeking revenge for a perfect season ruined and they did just that. Cookeville looked like a little league team out there last night with multiple mental lapses. That was the worst caught game I have watched all year. They got there though so congrats. Beatin The Dale twice is an impressive accomplishment, but I dont see anyone getting in the way of Oakland. Its like a train gaining momentum. Best team i have seen all year by far. Hope they go get a ring.

NO ONE threw towards Caleb ALL YEAR. Gotta remember our secondary was basically 3 men, we used a rover. We had strode or dugosh on one reciever. Teams took advantage the whole game. I am sorry Magoo. I do believe that caleb is a smarter kid then peetie. I mean V Tech and Vandy want caleb. Both extremely smart schools. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Maybe after or when i go through college i will know how to diiferentiate between the two.

Caleb Harper as a 4.0 and could graduate with us if he wanted to. Peetie probably does not make good grades. I know Calebs got a better attitude then peetie, and I do belive he is faster. Not better hand necissarily but he is a better play maker and much better at his position. Peetie prolly played bad against us because of the X FACTOR covering him. Im not too sure about siegel next year. I do no that Dizzlenation just put who he wants to start on that list. I believe Joe Ward will be the starting strong saftey and i dont see cassidine moving away from free safety. Siegel will be a MUCH improved football team next year. Watson has handed play calling over i do belive. I am not too sure on whether Pico Nance is even going to be the starter for siegel next year. He will have some good pt though, but Caleb Harper was scratched in at running back at the end of the year amd i do believe he has a better work ethic and is a smarter player. Football is not all physical raw talent. JKiss will be one of the top QBs in the district if he starts. Heated Competition for that position. Deonte Cruz is going to play 2 ways this year that should benefit the oline. Our oline needs to improve its strength thats for sure. If you cant block you cant win football games and losing Brett Craig, who is playing at Tennessee Tech next year, and losing brandon snell will NOT help that at all. We will be loaded with play makers though. Pico Gooch Caleb. Gerald House is going to be a strong runner. The best Fullback in the region staley haynes also will make an impact. I hope to see Dee Howse play, does anyone know if he will be on the team. Watson has gotten a lot tougher kicking me players off the team. Hope that works out for him. I think Siegel will be a good team and a playoff caliber team. I dont think Smyrna will be as good as everyone thinks, the line weakens and the running game weakens. X Factor and the pass rush will cause raucouse on sonny and wilks. Believe me when i say this will be a good one. Similar to my prediction of Riverdale Siegel being a good game last year... We know what smyrna will throw at us, they dont know all we have this year. I am always going to have slight bias towards siegel football, but I look forward to watching them play next year. It should be exciting. Hope Watson lets them throw the pigskin on third and longs this year. Would have been nice tosee that my 4 years of high school occasionaly.

Im calling BS on Petey Webster getting letters from any school like UTK or an upper lever D1 school. He is NOT that good. He is no where near the level of Caleb Harper.

Dont start talking about recruiting. Every school does it to an extent. Dont know who Oakland has recruited.

Ha Seeing how I scored the 4th most points on my team this year thats cool. Btw, I shot 9-23 from 3 land during church league. Only 2 games I didnt score and that because I realized my shot was off after 2 shots and didnt shoot the whole game. Something you gotta realize playing basketball, if its not dropping stop shooting, I doubt coach harris told you that one, Its cool though I dunno what you call 0-9 in the state semis if you call what Oakland did last night choking. Im baffled. I have held back but Siegel didnt choke in state ever, SIEGELS LONE SENIOR choked in state. Bring back our old team and I guarantee Oakland would beat them. They got coaching and leadership. Something NO Siegel team has had, except for Coach Hibdon who was a pretty good coach. Thats my 2 cents now that my siegel nation days are over, I think im going to make a new coachT name, any suggestions?

No offense, I like you, but you are just plain dumb. In no way did Oakland choke, If I recall 0-9 against ridgeway in the state semis, thats choking. What Oakland did was play there butts off for 44 minutes. This team was better then any siegel team we ever had in state, I guarantee that. Chaisson Allen DOES deserve Mr. Basketball. I dont care what he shot, he played the game of his life. Congrats Oakland, Your the best team the boro has ever had. Good Luck to Clarksville tonight, hope you bring it home for Middle TN.

Sorry, I didnt make it out tonight, wish I did though. I DID tell Powell fans that they didnt stand a chance and I was correct. Jaffarious Wade better have quite a few schools looking after these past couple games. I hope he keeps it up, he IS this years Barry Stewart. Alright...Scout.com is garbage, Rivals is much more reliable. Chaisson was recruited by MANY more teams then Northeastern. Northeastern was chosen do to its academics and pt right away. He was offered also by Clemson, Virginia. Boston College, and Southern Illinois. But Northeastern is better then anywhere your boy Connors is going. Chaisson will show you how good he is on the court thursday night.

Chaisson Allen, on the biggest stage in his high school carrerr, He will play amazing like he does in big games. What sickens me is that he is not up for MR.BASKETBALL, It is dumb that he isnt. He should win it hands down in my opinion.

IMO J-Wade is the difference between Oakland winning state and not. You can try and shut chaisson down all you want to but he is going to get good for his 15-20 EVERY game unless you leave others open the whole game. J-Wade is who decides how Oakland does really.

Who has Powell played? I know they have not played a defense as good as Oaklands. Shooting can be good but not when the defense is better.
