Hey cascade 11 dont let nothin that fresh says get to ya. He dont know what he is talkin bout. He is just mad that you guys beat them for the championship game. I know that hall and baker are both better than shankle any time any day. Shankle will be NOTHING in college. He has a hot head and dont want to listen to any body. Hall and Baker will both be 10 times better than shankle in college. I say this about forrest they has a very good over all team and coaching staff. It bad that cascade and vb both lost I think they were the strongest teams out of district 9. But good luck to the others teams in district 9 thats still playing.

Your right speedy it is who wants it more. who has more heart and determination??? VB remembers last year when nc put them out. I hope vb comes back strong and takes what is their's. Play good D and run the same offense that got you hear and vb will be ok. the key for vb and they will have to do this is rebound rebound rebound. If you do this well then you have a great shot at beating NC.....(GO VB)

Yes we are tall in the starting line up. Your guy are smaller (beside the big man in the middle) but faster and shoot great from outside. I hope you take care of business against east lit. we just aot to take care of our business against the team that put us out last year. Only one thing to be said to the vb coach great job on having four all district players. You only came in third put at least we know we have the players to take us further into this tourney. (GO VB)

It would be a great game to watch. It would also be awesome to have both teams go to sub-state. Thank you for the comment. Cascade also has some of the best fans around and show great support for your team. Every time we play you guys i come to watch cause it is alway a great game. I it was wonderful to see cascade beat forrest for the championship. I was rooting for cascade the whole game. # 12 and #13 can really play ball. I hope there is a rematch in regions. I totally agree i hope cascade does win this one and i also hope vb wins their game. It would make for a BIG rematch if both teams come out with a win. I will say cascade by 8. VB over NC by 10. I hate to say it but I say eagleville will lose in a close game by 4 because of foul troulbe. I am cheerin for east lit. to beat forrest but if forrest comes out hot they win. This is right speedy i think grissom is a wonderful ball player and the most valuable player to her team. She should get it but it will be tough because there are good ball players on all the teams in the district. But grissom from vb has my vote. Lets just get pass mtcs and then put our sights on forrest....(GO VB)

I guess they are sledge. I wish we know where shankle got "offers" from. But any way this is mvp voting in high school not college so it dont matter if he got "offers" or not. Baker is the better player he should win. I know this cause I watch him every game he is a TEAM player he dont take the ball the whole time and try to score every time by him self and gets his numbers by playing TEAM ball. Thats what an MVP does he helps the TEAM and makes big shots and carries the TEAM when they need him. So if you want an mvp that does it all him self and leads the team in scoring and show boats and dont use his team mates then give the award to shankle but my vote goes to a team player one that helps and carries the TEAM. Darrin Baker gets my vote.....(GO VB)

Good job speedy you know your stuff about this baker kid. he is a BETTER ball player than shankle any day of the week. And you said it if baker just "backs down" the smaller guards why dont they get some one bigger to stop him??? they cant.

Sorry but no one is going to win mvp hands down. Just cause forrest won district does not mean shankle will win mvp. He is a good ball player but i dont think he is the season mvp. My vote would have to go to the baker kid from vb. Because from what i hear he has averaged a triple double here lately. This kid can really play ball. But it also helps him to have four other guys on the court to help him cause basketball is not a one person sport it takes a team....(GO VB)

Yes this game would make me very nervous if i was on either team. This should be a very good game to watch. I will be feeling the same way tomarrow when it is vb's turn to face eagleville but I wish both teams luck....

Sequatchie is not loaded and yes van buren is a good team. van buren just did not show up for this ball game. it was an aweful ball game the refs did not have it under control at all. There was about 3 or 4 girls that got hurt during this ball game. It was the worse referred game i had ever seen

Let me correct myself baker has played aau ball before. he played on an aau team made up of school ball players. It was just a small team not a big aau team that goes every where playin. Just as a little extra practice for the boys. Nothing big
