Both are state caliber teams i wish they could meet in the state tourney instead of sectionals. Best of luck to both teams. Im not going to make a prediction but i know what both teams are capable of. Im pulling for Smyrna though because i have some friends on there and have bowled with them for a few years now. Monday may the best team win though. It will be one heck of a match.

Ok, I have just been reading this thread and i just wanted to point out that it takes more than just the scores to be considered a great bowler. Go beyond that and why dont you show some class? Cruelladeville, I opened the xxxxxxxxxxxx link and that is un-needed. Your respect doesn't even mean anything. As for both parties here I'm going to say... learn how to practice good sportsmanship, let your game do the talking, and keep everything positive. Some people check this coacht board out. For example, on one of the other threads. Some dude was being a jerk to me, i stated that i ignored it and though i believed he was wrong i didnt retaliate. At our next match against Smyrna, one of their coaches came up to me and told me we need more people like myself in high school bowling. So, just keep a good attitude and good outcomes will occur.

McGavock guys are showing no class. I hate seeing guys on good teams get cocky and think that they have the right to ruin the game with unneeded trash talk. Just bowl and post some scores. No need to do all this junk.

That is an awesome record. Just wondering though.... does that include tournaments? September 30th, 2006... yall bowled in the Middle Tn High School Jamboree. You placed 7th. Just thought i would point that out. That was preseason though and over with. David L. averaged over 200 and had a nice 260 game i think. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

We lost 15-12 yesterday. It was a close match. It was 12-12 after 3 games. It came down to total pinfall... Smyrna won by 6 pins! It was a hard fought match and even though we lost we showed a lot of heart and I have never been more proud of my team. We were up 7-1 after the first game i think. Then they came back 6-2 second game then they got us 5-3 third game. It was intense toward the end for me. I think i was clutch in the 10th yesterday. We just fell 6 pins short. I have to hand it to Smyrna... they came into our lanes and beat us. They are the only team that has done that this year. My hats off to them as they showed a lot of class and so did we. Major props to both teams. P.S. - I hate waiting like a week also... it really does build anticipation. Who do yall bowl?

Of course sir. Hope yall go undefeated. With a win today over smyrna in the boro and mtcs (cupcake team) in smyrna we will be a solid 2nd in district one game behind Smyrna. If we win one of them then we are a 3rd seed. Either of those would be fine with me as it is the best our school has ever done. Our districts are held in Smyrna unfortunate for us. lol Im going into this match today thinking positive and i think it will be a good match with Smyrna. Thanks for the support. Oh yeah this is my last ever home match so it kinda means a little more to me than any other match i have ever bowled there. I mean thats where it all started.

Oh, i have a stat for you. Smyrna has lost 3 matches over two years because lavergne beat them the other week. They are still a great team though. And we have 2 matches left... we play less matches in our division. Our season has already hit it's midpoint. Im not responding to the negativity anymore because this should be a positive thread.

I did nothing to you. My numbers are correct. You are ignorant of my team's record. Keep YOUR mouth shut. I was having a friendly convo with the guy from Springfield and you ruined it. I dont care who you are but the butting in was disrespectful. This topic is about Springfield bowling. Take your irrelevent remarks elsewhere. I am a mediocre bowler, yes. I am aware of that. Not many know who I am across the state, but at the end of the day atleast im not like you.

Actually we have 2 matches left. So if we win out were 9-3. We are no dynasty. We are a much improving program. 3-13 just 3 years ago. The team has improved so much and I am proud to say that im the captain of this team. I havent disrespected you, so dont disrespect me.
