How did Page and IHS do against the best team in the county, the Rebels????

Franklin hasn't shot well all year. Last year, they shot well early and then faded a bit. Therefore, it's not like last year. If the Rebels can get hot, good things will come, but the shots need to start falling.

Rebels led by 9 with 1:20 to go, lost control late, but managed to seal the victory by 2 . Derek Anderson was banged up early and had to leave the game but Antonio Murray stepped up to lead the Rebels with 20. All in all this means 13 games and 13 wins. Next up is XMAS tourney in Illinois.

How did both teams do vs Franklin?

I promise you I am not "mean". I also promise you that BA recruits. Lastly, I promise you that I know more about bball than you do.

Your thoughts and why.......

1rst of all, you know zero about Jim Harrick, 2nd of all, BA can play all the out of conf games they want, but they still have an easy tourney path when it comes to state. Try playing Nashville schools all year and then face Memphis schools to get to the top. BGA is about the toughest team BA faces in the tourney. They never beat AAA schools. Your coach is the man, beacause he got it done in the public system before he started recruiting, really though, if I could pick the 10 best kids out of surrounding counties I could win state too!

I think you should never lose a game if you can "RECRUIT" your players. Public HS coaches protect the purity of HS basketball. You play with who lives in your zone. That is real HS basketball! BA can have all the titles they want. I'd love to see them in the AAA state tourney!

Who wins and why?

Too early to tell who wins State. You have to be playing well at the right time. You also have to get some breaks, catch a good draw in regions, and have 0 injuries to key players. Also, I have note seen any teams play from East or West TN. I'd say Franklin, Siegel, Hunters Lane, or Whites Creek could emerge from Mid TN.

Franklin beat Siegal, end of story. Two good teams, both played very hard, and both had good players. Franklin played smarter and made crucial shots when they needed them the most. Franklin is for real this year because they play smothering defense. Though they are under the radar this year, they are for real. Jim Harrick---OUT
