There is no way Culleoka beats Perry Co by double digits. This game will be a war. In fact if Culleoka is not careful game 1 will be the first upset. The boys from Linden can flat out shoot it. Wayne Co over Santa Fe by 8 or less. Too much experience. Hammack will be the difference. Summertown over Huntland in another tightly contested game. Mt Pleasant over CA in the best game of the night.

Correct me if I am wrong. Nutt from Wayne Co was the MVP last season. Surely you don't think Wayne Co should get every year. I think Wayne Co.'s player get due respect as well as Coach Franks. How could you argue Klinghard ? or for that matter Dennis from Mt Pleasant ? or Doyle from Wayne Co ? or Braden from Summertown ? All would have been deserving MVP's.

Summertown win championship by 13, pretty much controlled the game from the start. Just wondering if the home cooking had started yet or the fun in the Waynesboro's stands. Great Job to the Coaching staff and team. Congratulations the best team won.

I have never seen anything like it. Mt Pleasant leads by 9 going into the 4th qtr. The lead goes to 13 with 3:30 to play. Summertown coaching staff starts subbing 5 at a time for offense / defense. Mt Pleasant misses a few free throws a couple of turnovers and the lead is down to 6 with :45 seconds to play. Summertown sophomore Nick Nance buries a 3 to cut it to 3. Mt Pleasant misses two free throws and Summertown senior Jason Smith buries a 25 ft 3 from the top of the key with 4 seconds left to tie the game. Grandberry misses jumper at the buzzer to send game to OT. This game was a war !

Congratulations to Coach Willard, Coach Porter and the Summertown Lady Eagles on a big win. Summertown clinches the 12A season championship. Good Luck with the rest of the season and the tournamnet.

a great game to watch... The difference in my mind was Summertown's depth. 8 players played significant minutes. I thought Loretto wore down a little more than Summertown. Both teams played hard. It says a lot for district 12A when a top AA team like Loretto's only losses are to Summertown and Wayne Co. Nice job Pageman. Enjoyed your summary

Summertown was sleep walking through the early parts of the game. Coach Trotter got'em turned up at the half. Summertown outscored Loretto 46 -11 the 2nd half. needless to say it was a boot stomping of historical proportions.

I wouldn't make light of that until you beat collinwood. Collinwood is a dangerous team. how many teams has cully played with a winning record

CA beat MP by one without Larry. Perry lost to S'town by 3 Wayne beat S'town in OT Stown drilled CA by about 20 CA beats Cully twice How can you say Cully is number 2

The defense might have had something to do with that. All that talk the last few days about Culleoka wrapping up the district might have been premature. Like I said last night there is alot of work for Culleoka to do before talking about playing in region championship. It was a matter of time before the #2 ranking caught up with them
