i agree with you guys 100%.. and that is the plan as of now.. but i just hope they bring someone in because there is alot of young kids talking about not coming to central and the ones that are at central want to leave is they do not have a coach by spring...who ever gets the job will have a nice group of underclassmen to build a progam with..

central has not won any boys basketball state championships but they do have a few state champions in their history... but since this is a BOYS BASKETBALL forum i will not list any other sports.....

i agree they should have spring practice no matter who the coach is.. but all you could do is work on drills, fundamentals.. and they may not be bad.. but who is to say what offense to run, what defense to run..then what impression would the kids have on the assistants coaches running spring if they are not good enough for the school board to hire them

the weight room at central is open 4 days a week and some of the players have a weight training class so the program is going on as usual for now... but they can not have a spring practice without a coach.. but the kids are working out and running monday-thursday..

tyler maples.. is he ryan maples little bro ... ryan was a good player just lacked the size and speed... what is tylers size and speed

mcminn central has a great freshman class and even better class coming in return alot of good ath so do not be suprised by them if they ever get a new coach

mcminn central has a good freshman team... i think they are 14-2 they lost to walker valley twice in two close games. so i think mcminn central and walker valley have two of the better freshman teams

i have not been to alot of places in east tn. but how many places are bigger than mcminn county.. i think that is a big high school gym?? just curious how many are that big around here. if there are any bigger then that do they have good crowds because mcminn has terrible crowds
