Selective hearing? Even your own people say they were taunting, but it was mild (now that's funny, mild taunting at a football game of this magnitude).It's amazing how ya'll point fingers but can't seem to see your own shortcomings in the art of class and sportsmanship. Everyone that has posted about Smyrna's lack of class sound morelike sore losers than any one concerned about sportsmanship.

The fact that your fans would single out an opposing high school player and taunt him is wrong in itself regardless of any circumstances.

It's obvious he has taught them teamwork and a brotherhood. I think Josh showed great honor, pride, and humility when he came on this board and tried to make amends, and when that wasn't enough his team got his back. Once again, your fans taunted all game long, don't dish anything out you can't take.

You need to be embarassed for yourselves. Your fans/team singled a high school football player out and taunted him even after he came on here to apologize. Don't be upset when his team takes it personally and rallies behind him. If you're going to dish something out make sure you can eat too when it's thrown back at you. How can you say the owls are a better team? This is the first time the two teams have played and Smyrna won. Looks to me that Smyrna is one better. Obviously Smyrna is a great team, they played two good teams----Riverdale and Ooltewah---and came out the victor. Stats are fine and good, but it's the numbers on the scoreboard that matter.
