  1. Surely you jest! siegel is playing the coaches picked "worst rated team" in Region 4-5A for 2007; how could this possibly be the biggest game in siegel history. This is very well is an important game in Coach Watson's future history, but for siegel football history.........not even close. If siegel is one of the 4-5A contenders this season; then beating the "worst rated team" should rank right up there with.................... MISMATCH! In closing, I will say this...........if WC is your worst team---Region 4-5A is a very, very tough league. Saw them in a game and a scrimmage; they are an interesting football team. road trip
  2. What is address of new web site?
  3. While you are on former coaches.................I never understood why the present Cookeville coach was let go??
  4. No one really, I just like 4A and 5A football in and around Nashville. I just think that Region 4 5A is about as balanced below Riverdale and maybe Smryna. I kinda agree with a previous poster about the Bulldogs losing the good running backs and offensive lineman. I am sure they are probably pretty deep with wannabes and they have a good solid coaching staff. With their opening 6 games; they better be good! Siegel Brentwood Lebanon Brentwood Academy Blackman Gallatin If they are 6-0; the ringman can get ready for another big sale. They open tough..............if it don't kill you; it will just make you tough! Blackman also opens very, very tough! Lebanon does not have a early walk in the park. Road Trip!!
  5. This is good! Lets say jmu is correct Lets look at every teams first (2) region games...........who do you like? Riverdale- (Oakland, Blackman) - 2-0 Smyrna- (Siegel, Lebanon) - 2-0 Oakland-(Riverdale, Lavergne) - 1 loss and a big game with Lavergne Lebanon-(Smyrna, Lavergne) - 1 loss and a big game with Lavergne (*note Lebanon and WC do not play in league week "0") Blackman- (Lavergne, Riverdale) - a loss after the game with Lavergne Lavergne- (Blackman, Oakland) - if 2-0; Oakland and Blackman are both 0-2 siegel- (Smyrna, Wilson Central) - 1 loss and a game with WC Wilson Central- (siegel, Oakland) - both teams will be 0-1 (*note Lebanon and WC do not play in league week "0") Jmu; if you are correct then Lavergne can be in the proverbial cat-bird seat very quickly. If you are correct, then the first huge play-off game will be Lavergne-Oakland ( who does everyone like?). Other thoughts: Blackman may have overscheduled. Lebanon & WC will get a "free" look before dipping their toe in the water. This could be an interesting year toga-toga
  6. Actually 2p, Vol Dawg is partially correct! One of the WC wing-t coaches is back and it is not the former head man. The WC offense got a big face lift the second year that Alexander was at WC. When Coach Moore was let go at Cumberland 3 years ago; his line coach and old collaborator Wes Elrod (retired from Metro-Nashville schools) also left and carried the offense to WC. He and Alexander also colaborated quite nicely and had a couple nice years. Elrod and another WC coach went to CU with Alexander, but both left after the first season and have since returned to WC. I will go out on a limb here and say that the WC offense will be improved in 07; whether it will translate into more wins ..........I simply have not a clue. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> 2p, Just thought I would add to your 4-5A info base.
  7. These boards opened back up about a week ago and they are just about D.O.A. Where exactly did all the crazies go? The boards are really no fun without the nut cases. Did they just quit checking after the last closure. Toga-Toga-Toga
  8. This is a test. Are the football board open again? yep, I do believe they are!!
  9. With all the rain in the area, did HHS and WC still scrimmage. If they did; how was the scrimmage. How did each team look?
