me thinks that theyll be more "deserving" girls play next year. look 4 the numbers 2 go way up. coach laws not being the coach will not have a bad affect on girls wanting 2 play it will B the opposite.

i wuz just a bit miffed at the first of the year with the way the coaching situation wuz goin. now im downright PO’ed. did ya’ll C the pathetic writeup N the paper Friday? Coach Laws cant stand it Bcause she aint the center of attention so she has to do a interview for the paper. what in the sam-heck does she think shes doing? why wood the paper do the story if not requested by Coach Laws or someone close to her? what purpose did that story surve? nun. she should go on with living her life and gettin better and leave the team alone. Coach Moore and Coach Layne have dun good things with the team and she goes and does something like this. everyone is focused on the season at hand. she said in the article that she called a meetin with the parents and players to discuss her situation. lie. the meeting wuz called by Coach Moore and she cried to Coach Raffo until he let her attend. she should have done the team a favor and just said no when the reporter contacted her about the interview. she didnt have 2 do it but then she wouldnt get the attention wood she? i hope that this is the last of it and she will leave the team alone now. they need to stay focused on the rest of the season.

and theyll B starting back up in a improved stadium. seems Coach Layne N Coach Moore have been busy during the off week. field looks good. buildings N bleachers look good. team is playing good. i know our girls R having fun. thangs have never been better for Marion County softball!

Coach Laws set the schedule. maybe U should ask her why they aint playing this week. while UR at it ask her why she only scheduled 17 games. not very much if U ask me.

i hate 2 say i told U so but look how good the team is playing. having the coaching situation settled has made all the difference. good luck Lady Warriors.

the question now is will the parents leave Coach Moore and Coach Layne alone and let them coach? word going around is that a parent or parents r watching practice and giving Coach Laws daily updates. what these parents need 2 understand is that Coach Laws is not the coach rite now and probbly wont B for the rest of this year. they need to git behind the ones that r coaching and support what they doing. Coach Laws told us at the meeting that she'd B checked out again by the dr. if she is released then she can be N charge again but the way i c it she aint got no say so till then. our girls r happy 2 B playing ball. lets git behind them and support them and stop stabbing the coaches N the back. good luck girls.

couldnt agree w/u more. i think that since the coaching problems r resolved Coach Laws needs 2 stay out 4 this year. she should focus on getting better which is what she said n the meeting. she should also let David and Darryl do there thing this year. if she comes bak half way thru the season it will disrupt whatever momentum the team has going. i dont understand why she wuz at the parent meeting. 2 me she just made herself look desperate. does she think any of us would blame her 4 staying away this season. its not like we would 4get her. i dont think David and Darryl are out 2 take her job from her. David enjoys football 2 much to do that. its obvious she is not the coach rite now. she should have said her peace and left. the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. i felt bad for David and Darryl. this is going 2 b a good team. just give them a chance show it.

last official count wuz 11 players. i heard today that the starting pitcher did not cum 2 practice Friday. basketball wuz over on Thursday but she didnt show up 4 practice. all the other basketball players were there. if she dont play that will make 10 players with no real starting pitcher. can we say ouch! i also herd that CL was called into a meeting with HR. from what i hear CL was not on the field Friday. have you herd any of this MCHS_Dad?

MCHS_Dad. we r half way thru tryouts and we need an update. what is going on? did Marion have any new players 2 come out? i herd that CL was on the field at Tuesdays practice. any truth 2 that?

what r u hearing about tryouts? i hear very few girls showed up. i also hear that the schedule only has a few games on it. i also hear that CL has dropped Whitwell. What up w/that? i no CL can't be held responsible for getting hurt. that wuz a accident. but i think that she should be held responsible for turning over control of the team at least this year 2 someone who could do something with it. sounds like bad times at Marion High. i hope i'm wrong.

i'm glad 2 hear that Darrel is going 2b out there. he's a good guy and knows alot about softball. i'm just concerned about CL's husband running the team. i know he played college ball but he does have somewhat of an attitude and i just wasn't sure how the girls would respond. i'm glad to hear that your daughter likes him. that may be a good sign that they all like him. i hope so. i know CL can't be blamed for getting hurt. i do think that she could have done better with communicating what is going on. i don't think you can blame the administration for her not being on the field. she hasn't worked since before Thanksgiving and is drawing worker's comp. i think there would be something very wrong with letting her coach softball until she is cleard by the dr and released from worker's comp. jmo. r u serious? there are only 12 or 13 kids signed up? that's sad.

here r my ?'s. if CL is not cleared by the dr, who will hold tryouts? or will they be postponed? do the parents at Marion really want her husband 2 take over the team? r there any other assistants that can help? but the biggest ?....what is going 2 happen 2 the softball program at Marion County? this is an embarrassment 4 Marion. somebody needs 2 step up n take control of the situation. sounds like CL aint doing nothing.

i think marion has the most talent in the district. they are loaded. puddin is my pick for the best individual player in the district but sequatchie county, east ridge and notre dame all have pretty good players as well.

from what i hear coahc laws doesn't have a schedule yet. so who's to say when the first game is? some of the parents that i have talked to say that coach laws has had very little if nay communciation with them.
