  1. I was there too. Carter led 21-13 and returned an easy interception for a touchdown. As far as Carter playing bad, I didnt see that at all. PF didnt show up until 3rd qtr. Was there a gap in talent last year? .....Yeah, Carter was a little more skilled at qb and wr. Thats as far as it went. Little gap...not a big one.
  2. Unless something changes, the scrimmage is scheduled for 430 at PF
  3. I'm not real smart, but if the term "right kids" means what I think it means, then playing the "right kids" had nothing to do with the former HC's departure.
  4. The transition has been a smooth one. The boys are excited and are working hard in the weight room as they should be. It is my understanding that the new coach has met with all males at PFHS and as a result of this, several kids playing other sports will be out for spring practice. This should help. To sum it up, we are hopeful.
  5. FULTON SHUT THEM BOTH OUT THAT YEAR. SEYMOUR IN ROUND TWO AND GP IN ROUND 3. BUT I THINK THEY LOST IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TO A MEMPHIS TEAM. NEVERTHELESS, THEY'VE HAD A HECKUVA GOOD RUN. AND IT WILL PROBABLY CONTINUE.
  6. THE LAST ONES I REMEMBER WERE IN 2002. GP BEAT AC AND SEYMOUR BEAT AE. I DONT THINK REGION 1 TEAMS HAVE WON ANY SINCE THEN, BUT I COULD BE WRONG.
  7. CONGRATS TO SPENCER, I TALKED WITH HIM BRIEFLY AT THE MARYVILLE COLLEGE BB GAME SATURDAY AND FOUND HIM TO BE A FINE YOUNG MAN. EVERYONE IN SEVIER COUNTY WISHES HIM THE BEST. AP GOT THE BEST I SAW ALL YEAR.
  8. Seymour is always solid, but Serafine graduated, Carter lost alot of offensive playmakers, but are they rebuilding or reloading? PF has alot coming back. Looking at their roster they will be a Senior heavy team and the new coach cant hurt. I dont know alot about Gibbs, Union, Rutledge, or Claiborne. If anyone does , I'd like to hear about em. Its wide open. What say U ?
