  1. hey i was at the game last night and i seen somebody making another video and i would like to see it
  2. i never thought i would say this but get em dawgs an old friend from os has got ur back in this one. wartburg by four 90 to 86 go bulldogs
  3. give wartburg alot of credit they came out and were readt to play. the cats didnt shoot the ball to well and didnt play team basketball at all and they were out couched the dogs just did everything better. the did a great job containing Adam Carter he only had 12 pts and shultz had 12 also they usually need a big night from at least one of them and they didnt get. But there is still alot of ball to be played
  4. who won and who will play who in the region
  5. Does colafield stand a chane or does the cats have to much fire power. The jackets do not have anyone who can match up with Adam Carter or Dan Shultz so i think if os plays aggressive defense it should be a easy night. I would take os next five over coalfields starting group but thats just me good luck to both teams.
  6. Adam Carter from os he never gets rattled or Adam Vespie from temple
  7. i would like to say great job by adam carter on scoring 1000 pts in his career he has been fun to watch these past few years oliver springs will miss him next year but thats a while down the road there is still alot of ball to be played. The bobcats looked great last night in beating oneida they could have easily scored a hundred but coach ingram showed class and respect and didnt run up the score insted ran plays didnt press and didnt run the ball up the court like he easily could my hat goes off to him.the team played great last night a noticed i said team the played as one unit last night. Carter was lights out so the whole team did a good job finding him when he was open i think he hit 4for on threes in the first half,i think thats all the 3's he shot but didnt really shoot much in the second half. Wampler came off the bench in put in some really solid minutes dont know how much he scored but he played good defense and rebounded well.Wrinkle did a good job distrubuting the ball last night and didnt have many turnovers and also played great defense. Tyler carter came of the bench and scored 9 pts i think that kid is probaly going to better than his brother Adam when its said and done. David Collett came off the bench and played really well he hit a couple of shots and played well like he always does. Keep on playing good cats tourney time is coming up and its a diffrent game.
  8. who would u take shannon or carter my personal opinion is that i would take carter. he leads his team in pts rebounds blocks and is like second in assits and steals and he is a post player. although shannon is a point gaurd and a good one at that i think he relies on a out side shot that really isnt that great he is a penetraing gaurd that is his strength and he does that really well he also gets his team involved even though he gets a little carried away but a good player none the less but carter seems more all around o ya and shoots in about 40 percent from down down and 55 percent from the fields or something like that but just wondering what everyone else thinks. o ya and both times wartburg and os have played carter has scored more the shannon.
  9. oliver springs played a great game on defense last night thats what won them the game i know giving up 70 points dont exactly sound like great defense but compared to last time. but i thought that corey wrinkle stepped up and played good especially after the ac game. cody west came in and played great the whole time he was in there and of course dan shultz shot the ball very well. Darren Goings stepped up and hit some shots and it helps having ross sampson back as another option. carter played a good game as well as good leadership he scored 24 points behind dans 32, he took some pressure off the gaurds bringing the ball up the court as well as leading the team in rebounding i know j shannon is a great played but i think carter means more to his team thats just my opinion it was a great game cant wait till distict it will be fun good game both teams.
  10. Oliver springs bobcats have a very taleted team so why arent the playing the way they should. Some say it is coaching i have watched them play and i think they do a awful job with substitutions. I have watched them play a couple of times against catholic and wartburg and the carter kid played great in both of those games but i think he spends to much time on the bench. maybe im wrong maybe there coach has a reason behind that. This isnt boys club basketball not every one has to play.
  11. Does any one think that coalfield can beat the bobacats at os
  12. i would have to put tyler carter from oliver springs in that mix the kid is 6'1 freshman but plays like a 6'5 senior he has a good head on his shoulders he is smart and can really play ball. Plus he plays in the post which is a lot tougher than being a freshman gaurd because when your a gaurd you dont have to worry so much about strength but more shooting and quickness but as a post you have to be strong and physical there is a big diffrence in a 17 teen or 18 teen year old senoir your body has had time to grow and to get in the weight room more and tyler is more than holding his own he is giving out some punishment too cant wait to see how he progrssen he is going to be a ball player P.S i heard can all ready throuw it down
  13. oliver springs has had some really good ball players come through there. i would put this group towards the top. 1. Pg Travis Williams (Carson Newman) 2. Danny shultz (Tenn Tech) 3.Barry Shultz( Tennessee) 4.Adam Carter(a senoir this year) 5.Craig Price(Temple) Subs. Wesley Jones Chris White Jonathen Green Travis Walls Freels played in late 70's early 80'2 dont know first name Kane Ringley Joe Carter And the youngest shultz only a sophmore could end up being one of the best along with tyler carter only a freshman
