  1. Hmmm, you must be from one of those schools Rutledge beat this year. Could your team have been a victim of the Pioneers? Go ahead and cry, where did your team finish at the end of the tournaments, or did they even get there?
  2. Classy coach, great team, some good fans, but some fans are just plain old immature and need to grow up. Public forum here!
  3. Just wondering why the Coach Combs brothers are being so silent with all this trash talk about their team and school? Where are you guys? How about someone standing up for the Pioneers? Do I have to keep defending from over here in Claiborne county? I've got my hands full with Claiborne and Cumberland Gap. Come on, some of you Pioneers stand up for your group! Remember, stick with our district. Way to go Pigeon Forge! All the way. If Claiborne, CG, or Rutledge couldn't go, you guys take it all the way!
  4. Handle it to the climax? You can't handle loosing a basketball game. If you have evidence the refs blew the jump balls, take it in protest to TSSAA and get the game overturned or replayed. If you can't, shut up and act like you have a little maturity. Children throw things when they get mad, not adults. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. Pretty good saying, pretty applicable to the situation. Again, classy coach, top notch team, good fans ( for the most part ), but some real loosers mixed in. You've been "agitated". Get over it
  5. Better get your game film out and count them again. Cry at the officials, they were not the best ever, but Unicoi lost fair and square. You think Unicoi was the only one to get a bad call? Why don't you protest to TSSAA if you have evidence to back it up, or just plain old shut up and get over it. Rutledge won!
  6. UCBlueDevils, You know what? Unicoi has a classy coach, a great bunch of young men on the court representing the school and community so well. It's a shame that 3 or 4 rednecks have to give the whole group a black eye. Instead of crying about the officials, watch your coach and the young men on the court and take a lesson from them, you need it bad! You bet "GO TIGERS" we will keep the championship in the district! Cry right on about the officials, they made bad calls both ways. We lost to a great team in Pigeon Forge. They deserve a lot of credit, as do the Blue Devils! Enjoy expressing your opinion all you want. Rutledge played last night while you sat in your motel in Knoxville, and on the sidelines to watch. Sorry coach and team, nothing meant personal towards you guys, great job. Glad to see you finally found your way back home, stay there! Agitator53
  7. Cry, cry, cry. What are you going to do? Have your train hoist me up on the trestle like the elephant? By the way, be glad I was talking with the refs, you couldn't handle it.
  8. Gave them 4 straight jump balls, HMMMMMM........ I surely hope you aren't so lacking of intelligence that you believe that. Let me help you with the rules a little. They alternate jump balls. It Rutledge got 4 straight, protest to TSSAA. I don't think that will happen because crying won't make a protest work. Get real and stick with facts. I guess Unicoi didn't commit any fouls they didn't get called for either. Wow! I didn't realize Rutledge was playing the "perfect team". The game was OVER when the technicals were called. No way could Unicoi score with .2 seconds left on the clock. As for the fans, Unicoi threw caps, bottles, and suckers onto the floor at the refs, score table, and across the gym. It's a shame that the GOOD fans from Unicoi had to be represented by a group of poor sports who just can't take a loss on the road. Welcome to the real world! Hats off the Unicoi's coach and the men's team. You guys are a class act, and deserve to be better represented than this. Black73, keep your caps on your head, your bottles in your pockets, and your suckers in your mouths. That way you can't show just how little you know about the game. Consider yourself "AGITATED"!
  9. After Unicoi's fans emptied their trash on the court, I had to pull out some of my 30 gallon Hefty bags to pick up and deposit in my big green truck. Trash talk? You bet! Nuff said, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Agitate to the end!
  10. KevB It was a good game. Unicoi's fans lost it and threw bottles and other trash on the floor when they saw their hopes fading. Poor sports! The coach took a couple of T's, but showed class when he stopped by the Pioneer bench to shake the coaches hands on is way out. Unicoi came with their ropes ready for another elephant lynching, but found out Union County doesn't have any railroad trestles to use as "hanging trees"! 3 wins in one season for PF against the Pioneers is phenominal, but 4 has to be near impossible. Watch out PF! The Pioneers will be there, and will be ready! Crying about bad calls won't help, grumbling about a long drive won't help. Staying out of school and bunking down in Knoxville the night before the game didn't help. Rutledge won fair and square. The boys just outplayed Unicoi, and the coaches just outcoached! Hang on PF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Horrible calls have abounded in Union Co., and noone has been immune. Several were missed last night on Union's court, and Coach Combs had pleanty of reason to express his dislike for them. Unicoi's coach did what any coach would do and kind of lost it, but Rutledge was ahead anyway, and the clock was in their favor, at the time. Unicoi's coach showed some class when he stopped by the Rutledge bench to shake with the coaches on his way out after the 2 T's. Unicoi came with their rope for another elephant lynching, but went home disappointed. Boo to the fans who threw trash onto the court. Poor sports! I guess you found out Union County doesn't have a railroad trestle to use as a hanging tree! Watch out PF, 4 in one season will be hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Staying in Knoxville or Halls instead of driving down from Unicoi Co.? Sounds like the team missed school today. Don't you have to be present in school to play an official game? Just wondering. Who allowed the use of their gym for practice since noone was present in school? Claiborne? Sure hope it wasn't Union Co.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I've got a new box of Hefty 30 gallon bags, and a new, big, green truck just waiting. Talking on!
  14. Dream on Unicoi! The Pioneers are pumped and ready. No lay downs! Bring em on!
  15. KevB1990 - You should have been there! Combs had the boys hitting on all 8 cylinders. The team was hot, the fans were hot, and the gym was hot. Union County's fans got WAY out of line with some of their chants, well most of their chants. The Rutledge Rowdies were close to the "line", if not on it, but they couldn't hold a candle to the Union Co. bunch! Disgraceful! Some of the fans shoud have been escorted from the gym and thier ticket fee spent on screening the fans a little better! Enjoy that northern weather!
  16. Evidently you have selective vision. You seem to have failed to see the player you mention tackle the Rutledge player, push, punch, kick, and everything else he could to finally get the elbow he deserved. You are right in the fact that a foul was not called, but young Roach deserved the foul, but didn't get it. I remember well how the Union Co. student section was when Rutledge was at Union. As I remember Union's students were a little rowdy themselves. One good turn deserves another. Stop your crying and grow up. The officials couldn't come up with a win like that if they wanted to. Rutledge won and that's it. It's a shame the good fans and players of Union County have to be represented by a post like this one. Shame on you!
