USJ is going to make a solid run this year. They really only lost Spencer from last year and they still have a really solid line up with Gant and Liles both still there. Look for them to do amazing things this year. and HALFCOURT.... You cant really compare it to basketball because if you are claiming that private schools recruit, look at USJ?s basketball team this year. Im pretty sure they dont lol

Will is a high strung guy with a temper. His actions at the state tournament were un-called for. It was very embarrassing along with all of the other outbreaks throughout the year. I'm not going to bash him because he is my team mate but i dont agree with a lot of what he does. Our coach does not let this kind of stuff slide, but there are no more matches for the rest of the year so its not like he is gonna get punished. I still cant believe that of all the places to throw a tantrum, it was in the state final but there is nothing that we can do about that now. The only thing that upset me off was the fact that everyone made it look like will was the only one at fault. Eric's dad had no right to say a word to will and he got thrown out because of it. Anyways, we had a great season and we look forward to another next year

Yeah i was there watching the match. That ref (the short, kinda fat guy with wavy hair) holds a big grudge against will. Several parents have complained about him (i was talking to ian chadwell and apparently he cheated him out of a few points also) making bad calls. What happened was in was 40-40 and the ref overturned one of wills winners which was clearly in. Will threw his racket against the fence and then cussed. He only got a game penalty until Eric Chastains dad called him an F'ing ######. Will cussed at him and then the match was over. Eric Chastains dad got thrown out and the match was over. It was a shame.

Then we won 4-1 over CCS

after a sweep of DCA 4-0, we defeated Chat Christian 4-1. Our only loss of the day came at number 1 singles but it was a great match that went to 3 sets. We had a great year (undefeated) and we are excited about winning a championship for the first time in 7 years. All we have left is our doubles team of lucas guerra and colton norton to win state in the doubles tournament and will magee to win the singles tournament. Congrats to all other winners Also, i heard that Bo seal and another player from baylor defaulted in their final match against mccallie. Does anyone know what happened?

Just from their lineup and their record and from previous years i think that they will beat knoxville catholic. Knoxville catholic had a close match with elizabethton and thats saying something....

you obviously have never played in any kind of big tournament event. and you obviously have never played in a final match. Adrenaline takes fatigue away my friend. Its the natural heroine

yeah, he played our number 3, colton norton, in the final of the rotary. Dont get me wrong, colton is a great player and played very well but chris was on a completely different level. I sensed stackage when i saw their true lineup

Anyone know much about DCA and their lineup? I know that they have 1 or 2 players that are ranked but how good are they... It would help if someone who has seen them and who has also seen us play could answer that.

Seigal>Science Hill unless they stack which science hill is prone too. at the rotary tournament there were some people playing in the lower divisions that i know were in the top 3 on the team

I cant wait until our doubles team of Lucas and Colton play yall in the doubles state tournament. Undefeated means nothing, playoffs are a completely different game. I also looked at your schedule and it didnt look like anything compared to ours.

we probably wont get to see yall play the team matches but hopefully we will get to see yall play some individual stuff. Lucas and Colton drew the luckiest draw in doubles that it is hilarious. Go to the tssaa site and look and the boys A-AA doubles. They put Elizabethton, DCA, and CHat christian all on the same side and left lucas and colton to destroy everyone all the way to the finals. Hope yall have a good tournament but im actually off to take a history exam right now so ill get back on the boards later

well lets get some facts straight. 1. Yall arent at State ( maybe for individual but not for team ) 2. We dont recruit because we are in A-AA. Only Division II schools are allowed to recruit. How do we have an advantage over you? neither of us recruit and yall actually have an advantage over us. We dont even have 400 people in our high school. 3. Also, yall havent played a tougher district or schedule than we have. We have played MUS, MBA, Seigal. We played at the Rotary tournament and at the Carter Invitational. We have played people from Baylor, McCallie, MUS, MBA, Lone Oak, Father Ryan, Science Hill. Our district is also no joke. We play Northside whose doubles team got to the state semi final in AAA last year. The reason that there is division I and II is to seperate the schools that recruit and those who dont please know what your talking about before you make an argument about how we shouldnt be competing against private schools Final Four USJ vs. DCA Chat Christian vs. Knoxville catholic

Why did you say that it is expected that USJ will win region A-AA. No doubt we have a great team this year but we havent been to state in 7 years. This is a huge achievment for us and we are looking forward to our next match with DCA how is yalls team doing so far cutters?

Today we absolutly killed Crockett county 4-0 so we are Murphy bound this is the first time USJ has been to the state tournament since 1999 and we are pumped. We play DCA at 8:00 am Tuesday
