  1. No TSSAA has a set of tie breaker rules. The "outside the village idiot" has it right and it is truly a toss up right now if Adamsville loses to Richland. The final tie breaker ending is a Monday Overtime. Meaning, if all three teams are tied there after everything is over with, each team must play on Monday at a neutral site with overtime rules to decide. It's better than a coin toss.
  2. "Forrest wins. McNairy and Hardin Co. lose. McEwen Wins. Montgomery Central will lose because they play Lipscomb. The others will be close. So this scenario would leave the victory totals at 43." This is what you said. You assumed that Forrest would win. That is your Richland bias. You were trying to disprove me saying that it was Adamsville/ Houston County spot. I will give you that Richland is not out of it. My entire point was what an amazing season for these two schools considering they were the worst two teams last year. Now, these two teams are battling for that last spot. I believe the coaches of the year should be Waverly, Adamsville, or Houston County's coaches. These schools have done the most with the least. Us and Lewis County have talented coming out the ears, but they have done a solid job coming off their last year performances. If you are a Region 5 guy, then get out our threads. You look like the perverbial "village idiot" as you called me, since your not even in the village. Leave and let us discuss things. We need no help from you or Region 5.
  3. I don't have to worry about Lewis County. I'm also sorry that my "slef-esteem" is not better. But, you did mention that Forrest was a sure win. That is in favor of Richland. I bet a Region 5 fan is keeping up with the scenario's.
  4. Well, your system is flawed. You assumed way too much in favor of Richland. Maybe that is why you came off as a Richland sneak-in raider. And I'm sorry, but you must be a fan from somewhere. Who randomly comes up with every scenario for a team one doesn't like? Hold on I need to calculate the tie breakers for a random Region in California, because I like to do it for fun. Please, do not lead on like you are not a fan of at least one of the three schools. Also, considering every scenario is in favor of the Richland, they don't deserve it, Raiders I , like you in assuming Richland was the favorite to go the playoffs, assumed you were a fan of the R and R.
  5. One more thing, Forrest is not a sure win there chief. They play White-House Heritage. They have similar records versus their opponenets. For example, WWH beat Eagleville 10-7, while Forrest won 14-7. Wow, you're right a sure thing there pal. I'm predicting Forrest in a landslide (Caution: Extensive use of cynical remarks.) Want more comparisons? JBS beat both teams by 35+. However, WHH lost to Cascade by fewer points than Forrest, but your formula probably throws that game out the window, therefore it does not hurt your beloved Richland Limp-In, Find a loop hole, Raiders. Remember Camden is out to get you. Go Adamsville/ Houston County.
  6. Two things. We dominated you, so please do not talk down to me. Secondly, you have no right to talk down to Houston County considering they beat down you guys at your house on you Senior Night. You need to wipe that smurk off your face, just because you guys were too scared to play a tenth game and now that helps you guys out. Well guess what, one you have to beat Adamsville first. Second, if you do make it I hope you guys learn your lesson from a team I like to call Goodpasture. Houston County and Adamsville deserve it more than a Richland team that was supposed to finish third in the Region with all of your backfield back, especially #8, and you guys lose to Waverly first and from there you guys were awful. I am officially an Adamsville/ Houston County supporter. I will make a prediction: Next year Camden 56, Richland 2 ( Our back up punter dropped the snap and then kicked it through the back of the endzone for a safety with one tick left on the clock. Stupid freshmen)
  7. Stewart County plays their starters in every JV game. It ultimately is Coach Holliday's fault for allowing their starters to play. Maybe his thinking is if they win a JV game their team can feel what it is like to win. Personally, I feel it is stupid and you are right. That is the reason they are awful every year. I mean he plays the worst 1-A teams in the state to get a couple of wins and then claims they are a decent team. Just wait until they go to 3-A. It will happen due to their increasing enrollment. Goodluck Coach Holliday.
  8. The fourth seed should not come down to Richland and Adamsville anymore. Richland was beaten last night by Houston County. So the region should wind up with Adamsville, Houston County, and Richland as 4, 5, 6. Adamsville beating Houston County was really the play-in game for those two teams with Richland having nothing to do with it. BTW, Houston County and Adamsville have really started two young programs on the right foot this year. Who would have thought that those two teams would be battling for a playoff spot?
  9. Camden hasn't played down to anyone's level all year. You admitted that Lewis County does. I'm sorry, but good teams remain focused despite of the level of competition. Lewis County will lose by 21 to Camden. It will not be a game in the second half. Camden is a better team this year, than last year. Watch out for the Moose! Camden 28, Lewis County 7.
  10. Guys, I tried to defend you to JBS. I prediced a South Pittsburg victory over JBS in the state and this is what you do in return. You lose to Tennessee Temple. Hahaha, this thread is rediculous. How can you claim to be the best and you get smoked by 33. I agree with most of the South Pittsburg fans, you do need to jump up to 2-A so you won't have to play Temple anymore.
  11. Guys I hope you do run the table. I know it won't be until the playoffs, but Jo Byrns has already said on other threads that the only team stopping them from that Gold Ball is themselves. They threw you guys and teams like South Pitt under the bus. They are saying that no team can match up with them. I tried to tell them about you guys and schools like South Pittsburg and they laughed. They feel that McKenzie is overrated and that South Pittsburg doesn't have the speed this year.
  12. Don't worry Clarksville Academy, South Pitt would put up thirty on their 1st string def. But, JBS won't make it to state? Hey Tuck Rule, where did your bash JBS thread go?
  13. I think your right, Stewart Co. is going to have a 6-4 record. I was wrong to say that they would probably finish 3-7. They dominated Houston County and road home with that L (Caution: Sarcasm at use). Remember guys, you were going to push to be that first team to make it to the playoffs. You said that you could play us close. Well guess what? Same old Stewart County. You can call a mule a horse, but we all know that he is a jack@*&.
  14. No but he was compared to a two NFL WR's. If you compare someone to NFL Wideouts, then your telling me he can play in the league. He is good, but he is no super star.
  15. Yeah, I wish you could play either team. But, you won't because I'm sorry but good ole Fayette will wear you guys out or McKenzie either one. Remember, they will be wearing a specific type of shoe in the state called cleats. I bet you knew that one didn't you. I'm sorry to correct you guy. Also, in order for me to follow your ramblings I'm going to need you to use commas during your ramblings.
  16. I totally agree with TNT. If Skogen was that great why would Tennessee have him at the bottom of their lists. Now, I know Rivals is not always accurate, but TN will never be a good team if we go after 2 Star athletes. Rivals isn't that far off. Oh yeah, TN is recruiting a 6'4" wideout who is not only a 4 four star, but is a lot faster that Skogen. Why would a school like UT recruit Skogen to play WR? Why would they recruit Skogen to play TE? They have a boat load of TE's, including the Cottam brothers and Chris Brown. I understand you want Skogen to be a great player and for Temple he is, but please do not compare him to freaking NFL greats when he hasn't even played a college down yet. And as far as him playing in the SEC, yes he could be a WR for Vanderbilt and that's it. Key words there are WR and Vanderbilt. If he wanted to play WR Vandy is about the only place where he could go and play and start at WR, but then again who wants to start for Vandy (besides two star WR on rivals named Skogen). That's also a stretch though. I have seen him play and I question his speed in the SEC at WR, but I could see him playing TE at the next level. But according to Temple fans, why should he even have to play at the college level because he is the next Anquan Boldin. I think I heard Lineart say in his press conference the other day that he has a good supporting cast, but it would be great if he only had that Skogen guy who plays for the Tennessee Templetons Tech School. I heard him say it, write that down.
  17. Turf from dictionary.com means: An artificial substitute for such a grassy layer, as on a playing field. Wow, so I did use the word turf in a correct way. I'm sorry, I meant to say they would be purchasing their State Attire. I know USC is not arguing who is the best in the PAC-10, it's obvious. They don't have to. But, to hear JBS players get on here and argue if they are better than MCewen you have to be kidding me. Yes, Friendship is a powerhouse this year. They barely lost to TC last year. Please don't even try to say that JBS can hold a candle to South Pittsburg. No way. Too much speed. The Robinsons will dominate you guys. South Pittsburg without a doubt is a perennial 1-A powerhouse. Their history proves it. History also shows that teams in the West in 1-A do not do very well with the eastern powers.
  18. You all would stop running your mouths as soon as one of you got a hold of a real 1-A team. Let's take South Pitt. They played a 2-A opponent last week and drilled them 48-0. Now, I'll admit the team they played is not Alcoa, but Marion Co. is not a terrible team either. Or let's let you guys play Friendship. Another team you all would lose to in bad way. Remember BigTuck while your arguing with McEwen and Cascade to see who is better in your region, South Pitt/ FC/ McKenzie are discussing what shoe to be buying for that MTSU turf. Do you see the difference between your program and the major powerhouses (not that I consider McKenzie a major powerhouse, but FC and South Pitt yes). They handle themselves differently. They do not feel obligated to argue who the best is in their respected region. They are concerning themselves with the question, "Who is the best team in the state?"
  19. Camden Lewis Co. Riverside by 1/2 Houston Co. Richland I know its not Region 6-2A, but I'm going out on a limb here and picking Alcoa to win this week.
  20. I will need you to remain in your seat, until the reality check comes to a complete stop. I'm not even sure that you are tall enough to have gotten on this ride in the first place. You forgot to mention that you could possibly be on your way to a 3 and 7 finish also. I mean, who is to say that you will win the remainder of your games. You beat a Riverside-beaten Loretto team who could not find their way to an endside unless guided by blind-seeing eye dogs (ironic I know). Yet, you came from behind to win. You are right, Dover is well on their way to 5-5 year. Secondly, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Dover's enrollment. Bring on 3-A and David Lipscomb, again for you guys. Don't worry their not that great compared to any NFL teams except the Titans/ Raiders. Then, if you compared to those two teams they would be considered great. But, much love to both schools. Bring on those Lewis County boys.
  21. Yeah, I'm not saying they haven't gotten any better. I'm just saying that beating those two middle school programs doesn't prove they are better.
  22. What up Region 6-2A? The only thing I have to say is that SC you beat two middle school programs to start your season off. That doesn't prove you are any better. All we have heard all year on coacht is how Dover would give us a game or Lewis County a game. Wrong. You have gotten better but do not lie to us and say that your 3-3 right now, while implying that means you have gotten a lot better. You won't even play McEwen anymore so you can play really pathetic 1-A teams. P.S. your school is about to move to 3-A and you can't keep from drowning in 2-A (I'm sorry). Gleason for instance would be known for the worst team in TN if is wasn't for RBS. I will say you are better, because last year or the year before you would have lost to the worst 1-A teams. However, I'm out. Good luck to both teams in the game.
  23. That is an absurd comment. Trousdale has won by way of the run. They only began to implement a passing game when Clint's sons played QB (Wes, in the year 2000) and WR (Right Now). Trousdale team's during the nineties were a run, run offense. No pass involved. I take that back. They would throw roughly three to five times a game. After the 99 season, Clint began to throw the ball around because of his son. By the way, his son has a cannon so if I were Clint I would have thrown it as well. But please get your facts straight, Trousdale Co. has not always had balance on offense. Also, most high school teams rarely have balance on offense. I mean 20% pass to 80% run is about as balanced as most teams get.
  24. There have been plenty of teams win without throwing the ball. Take a look at the collegiate level. Nebraska was dominant and had no passing game during the Osbourne Era and even later into the Solich Era (Nebraska should have never fired Solich). I know high school teams have won it without throwing very often. Trousdale Co. comes to mind. Their run in the 90s were run dominant. Marion County in the Early to mid- 90s never threw the ball. My suggestion to you is keep your mouth closed and let the coaches coach. One more example on the NFL level, the Ravens a few years ago took the Super Bowl and they rarely passed. Why must you think that you have to throw to win games? You just enjoy the season you guys are having. Keep giving it to #21, because if we had him we would never throw it either. One question, why throw it and take the risk of a negative play when you are guaranteed a positive play by handing the ball off to your big fullback?
  25. The Cruz kid from Houston County kicked a 49 yard field goal his sophomore against us.
