as long as Fulmer keeps making excuses or denying that any problems exist, UT will continue to falter. I'm afraid they aren't done losing this season.

I'm gonna be in the minority (as often) and stand by Gary Lundy. Clausen talked a lot of trash last year about UGa and then denied it this year. Mike Strange of the Sentinel had it on tape. Lundy exposed the senior quarterback before Georgia did.
Mrs. Fulmer needs to back off.

I just saw a TV commercial for a new CD from that outstanding vocalist:
Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
Its entitled "Be a Man" and is available at FYE and on the web at www.machoman.com
God help us all.
I can do better than that! I heard the song on the John Boy & Billy show last week!!
BTW, the apocalypse was delayed when the Lovable Losers lost again.

I welcome him to Tennessee. He can be a Titan fan.
And thanks to a spineless legislature, he is required to be a Titan fan.

What do you educators think about the learning disability rules? Sometimes I have to wonder.

In my oppinon, Clausen has been a bust. He can't win the big games against ranked opponets. GA, Mia, etc;
I'm with You, ID2. UT 1-6 in last 7 against ranked opponents...okay so Claused skipped last year's UGA game. 1-5.

I'll be looking over my shoulder, for sure.

This is it. Post number 2500. How much time have I killed at work on this website?!?!? Thanks, coacht and iamoz!

Wait a minute, they both can't be there because our Titans will have something to say about that.
Don't forget the Colts, and I hope the Titans are at home ... not at the Coliseum ... but at home in front of their TV sets having been eliminated!!!

Never been to Appy State's campus, but I have been to Boone. You can't get there from here!!

It's the curse of the goat, I guess. And what's up with their fans. Not once, but twice, in this series a fan has taken the ball away from a cub defender...
I still like the Tubbies chances with Wood, though.

Deep, did you watch the Louisville and Florida games?! Even if UK keeps it close against the Vols, Lorenzen will rescue defeat from the jaws of victory just like he did in those two games.

1. Smaller student to teacher ratios (15 or 20:1)
2. More discipline and less restrictions on teachers and administrators with regard to discipline
3. Less paper work
4. More parental involvement in the education of their children
5. Less government (state and federal) in public education
6. Higher expectations of students and less "social matriculation"
All of these things are done in private schools! No private school has to worry about these federal laws or regulations! Private schools have more discipline and fewer restrictions on how they deal with discipline problems. Private schools have less than half of the paper work because they seldom have to answer to anyone outside of the head master and the Board. It is a proven fact that more private school parents are involved in their children's education. No private school student is passed on to the next grade unless he/she earns the grade!
Give me the same school environment as most private schools have and I can improve public education without all of this stupid legislation! Teachers want to see their students do well in school! It's just foolish to think that teachers get into this profession for any other reason!
OMG!! ELA and I agree again!!! .... especially on that #5.

Public educators are required to renew their certificates every five years. This can be accomplished either through college credits or workshops in which he or she receives points.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Can anybody tell us about Lincol Memorial's campus? I heard it was really nice.
I've been to some activities there and it's in a really pretty area. The campus is pretty small, so there isn't much to judge, but the mountains in the background are beautiful if you like that kind of thing.

While I don't understand all the ins and outs of this law, I do think teachers should be required by some authority to continue their educations. Almost all other professionals are required by law to do so.
However, I think this is a bad law because I think the Federal Government needs to absolutely, wholly, and immediately BUTT OUT!! Education is but one of dozens of areas where the Feds have unconstitutionally taken over the management of said area.
No vouchers. No red tape. Let the states decide or privatize them all.

Will I see "TheAnswer9" on my ballot for State Senate next fall?

That's the problem...everyone still thinks that Sanders' game plan won the NC in 98.
It was three plays.
Peerless getting behind the Free Shoes U secondary twice and Dwayne "Vehicular Homicide" Goodrich stepping in front of Peter "It was a gift" Warrick to get a pick 6 saved us.
Even with Outzen at QB for FSU instead of Weinke, we had good fortune...like we did all year...in winning the game.
Don't leave out Leaverton's tackle of Warrick on the punt return.

The past two weekends I have visited Sewanee and Campbellsville(KY) and both had beautiful campuses. What are some of your opinions on the best campuses in the area?
I thought Tennessee Tech was above average - until it rained. But it's okay.
I haven't visited a lot of campuses in Tennessee, but I don't think UTK or UTC are particularly attractive.

Seems like I've been saying this for a while. Except, unlike Frank, I have decided to bolt the GOP for (I) status.
The enemy of my enemy isn't always my friend.

Can someone post the schedule for district 4 A/AA tournament? Thanks.
-
Man, this region is going to be down to the wire. 7 teams are still alive, looks like. I think the 'big 3' will grab the top 3 slots, but four teams are still in the running for that 4 spot. The possibilities are still way too many to list this early!
