No, Have never been to a Lady Devil's practice. I just think the taller lineup would offer them a distinct advantage over most of the teams they play. I also believe strongly in mixing up what you offer offensively and defensively. I think we are too predictable right now. I am not saying to strictly use this taller lineup, I am saying start the game with it or start a quarter with it to change the pace of the game. I agree with earlier comments, "Deans & Dickson cannot carry this team by thenselves. Go Lady Devils, we are behind you.

I would like to see Greeneville try a little different line-up. I think Collins, Deans & Dickson with 2 ballhandlers would be a better lineup. Rotate the Carter, McIntyre, Lamons, etc. and keep the 3 taller gals in the paint. This size advantage never seems to be exploited. The only thing keeping Collins from scoring 10 - 12 points a game is playing time. Deans short jumper from just inside the foul line is a great shot for her along with her ability around the basket. Add Dickson's ability to hit the "3", and I think you have a more potent offense than we have been seeing of late. Carter is a playmaker, but must control her turnovers. All the Lady Devils appear to be lobbing alot of their passes. Not only does it result in many turnovers, it makes for sloppy play. If you have a team making crisp passes, you will find them to be much more successful. Go Lady Devils!

Good Luck to all four teams - Greeneville, Morristown West, Dobyns Bennett and Science Hill. Last night's game between Morristown West and Greeneville was definitely a tale of two halves. High School soccer is alive and well in Northest TN. I am expecting some very close matches next week in the Regional Tournament and hopefully our Region will prevail in the Sectionals and show the Knoxville teams we are a Region to be reckoned with. The only down side of this is 2 teams will finish their season next week. Good luck to all. Go Devils!!

I agree, I feel the officials are failing to keep some matches "in check". In the Greeneville vs. Jefferson County match last night, the officials let excessive fouls continue with no-calls, causing the tempers to escalate. I don't think there would have been any parking lot scuffle had the game been called more closely. While the on field referee can't see everything, I find that many side judges refuse to use their authority to flag fouls. ( in my opinion, last night the on field official missed many calls that occurred right in front of him - both ways). Maybe some of us parents should acquire the certification to officiate? - No thanks! I know officiating is a very difficult job; however, we must get these matches under control. It is only human nature for tempers to erupt as blatant fouls continue to go unnoticed. Any thoughts? FYI - the Greene Devils are "starting to gel".
