Ben Bottoms is most certainly not a top shortstop. When I watched a Ravenwood game it reminded of someone who was meant to play the outfield or something and needed to fill a position. Mechanics and arm strength are a joke and his swing seems no better than Ray Charles would do

Centennial had plenty of chances to win the game, they scored 4 in the 1st inning with 3 UNEARNED. For the next six innings Ben Johnson made easy work of the Cougars allowing only 2 hits while the bobcats rallied and scored 4 of the 5 runs with 2 outs in important innings. It is immature to say that umpires were the cause of Centennial's loss, It was a great game that came down to the end

Franklin plays Overton at home Wednesday at 6:30. Both teams with 1 loss in the district battling it out for the number one spot. Not sure whos throwing for either teams (maybe Johnson for OHS?). It should be a great battle with young shortstops Corban Joseph and R.J Rayborn who both had productive sophomore years. What are your thoughts?

Overton has 2 district games vs Centennial and Franklin on Monday and Wednesday and they went out in the championship game and had freshman in the field as well as a freshman pitcher. Backing out of a tournament semifinal because you have a district game wednesday is just plain petty

Oakland is a solid team, with the talent they have they could very well make a run for the state, Riverdale has also always been a good team and will surprise people this year

RJ Rayborn at Overton, started as a sophomore last year and had one of the highest batting averages on the team (.436)

Any ideas on who is gonna be the top contender in 11-AAA this season?
