carter beat ac during the thanksgiving tourney. i think it was the 1st or second game for ac with their football players back...rorex,longmire,sharp,seiber. these guys have contributed quite a bit to the mavs success this year. ac beat carter about 2 weeks ago by about 12-15, but the game was a little closer than the score indicates. carter is a good basketball team and very athletic. it will be a tough game for stone, but with them playing at home, i give them the edge. stone by 5! good luck.

ac wins by a score of 47-45! buc1973, i have seen ac play stone a few times now and it seems as though it is a pretty clean rivalry. i think that its great that two of the best teams in the district can play the kinds of games that these guys have played and have no bad blood. i have nothing but respect for the way that stone plays ball (hard and IMO clean) ! good luck to stone in the region tourney. go mavs!

i wasnt able to make it in time for the loudon vs. stone game. i was told that loudon got 2 techs for dunking in warm-ups. stone is playing good ball, and it should be a good matchup for the championship game (ac/stone).

so.....the #1 team AC gets 2 players, catholic #4 gets 4, #3 loudon gets 3, #2 stone gets 2? sounds a little off to me. white is a 1st teamer! how do you leave crowder off? do you play for catholic???

the scott kid was trying to cut white off and before he knew it, white had taken off for the dunk. it looked ugly but was not intentional. no hard feelings from this ac fan. white will be back and will be ready come tourney time.

ac waxed grace at grace earlier this season, but they are a pretty good team and deserve some consideration. carter, imo, is a much stronger team than grace and deserves to be ranked above grace.

i may have careered it a time or two in my day. yes, i did play in the 90's and i put up quite a few points. however, my assist totals were not so impressive. who did you play for?

tyler smith will play 1 more year IMO! i surely hope he does. they could be nasty next year....ramar, tabb, prince, t smith, chism. not a bad 5! with tatum, williams, chill, and of course stevie P coming off the bench; they will be deep as well.

i have never been to a game at scott. why does everyone say it is a tough place to play? from looking at their schedule, it looks as though they get beat often. just wondering?

i agree with happyhour22! the top 4 in 4AA are solid and will compete with the other district, regardless of the order they finish!

if they didnt, they do now! i saw them play earlier this year and there wasnt a 14 on the floor. was he injured or something? when i watched, there only seemed to be one scorer on the floor (#3).

irishbball, bad mojo or not, sounds like the mavs played terrible! i was unable to make it to the game because of a business trip. but, from what ive heard and read; it sounds as though the mavs may have overlooked the irish. needless to say, these 2 teams will probably meet a couple more times. hopefully, the outcome will be different. which kid is the walden kid? is he #3? glad to see that larry legend has made his daily visit to remind everyone about the size of the schools. let me guess, AC and stone will be moving up next count and they better win now! does anyone else get tired of hearing this crap?

cody seiber was missing for AC. he may be AC's mvp because he brings it every night and does the little things that few players do these days. both teams were missing key players, not just stone. white's shot may have been a two, but they called it a three and the mavs will gladly take it. either way, there should be no should've, could've, would've from either team. i look for both teams to run the table through the district. im just glad the district and region are at AC. stone is a tough place to play! good luck!
