Coach Lane is one of the best coaches in east tennessee and should be coaching college by now if not it won't be long til lane has a good college job because he teaches the fundamentals well and always has rockwood in the top 3 if not the state.

Yah but They will meet up in the baseball playoffs in region if they get passed Harriman , Rockwood , and don't count out the Coalfield Jackets!! They are tough ,and O.S hasn't seen coalfields best yet, Nor Rockwoods best ,and they haven't even played Harriman yet. So it could be interesting come district and region time. Only bout 3 or 4 weeks away. We should see if O.S can compete with talent that the middle tennesee teams have down there. When they go to that tourney down in sparta. So we'll see if they can cut the errors down against good teams that well make them pay for those errors they make. Rockwood has a duo of great young pitchers Colden Cooper and Zach Duncan. Duncan can bring the heat .while Cooper has a nasty curveball and awesome slider. The duo is awesome cooper is 2-1 and duncan is 1-1 with a couple of no decisions. their last district games duncan threw a no hitter and cooper threw a 2 hit shutout. The future is looking very bright for the tigers!!!!

they better get a little nervous when rockwood rolls into the region cause they will be ready by then with the young kids they got to just barely get beat o.s seniors so next two years rockwood wont be touched in the district or region and porbably this year too

its not a fight for 1st place rockwood is in a different district than o.s. is and rockwood pitched zach edwards and o.s. pitched some mitchell kid rockwood didnt throw their best and o.s. didnt throw kelly but even though it was 5-4 its still alittle bad that rockwood is starting 7 sophomores and still almost beat their seniors and if the wind wasnt blowing rockwood would had took like 3 out though it doesnt count on the record cause it wasnt on the record it was just suppose to be a j.v. night but ended up being a varsity game too rockwwod still has to come back down and they gotta go to rockwood so it is still gonna be anyones ball game

Rockwood took down coalfield last night 13-3 but coalfield did hit good but too much fire power for the jackets davis and the meredith kid hit and played good but the two stars for rockwood hit good doughty and allen hit two at least 365 last night great game all around
