Well I would like to wish Adam a speedy recovery from the Jellico Blue Devils. Ever since our game with Hampton I have logged onto coacht just to look at what Adam did against whatever team he may hvae been playing that week. When I walked off the field friday night @ Cloudland and my parents told me what had happened I was utterly awestruck, I could not believe what I heard! But I would just like to wish Adam a speedy recovery, and good luck to the rest of the Hampton Bulldogs! And a very classy post started here by Cosby's coach! Good Luck Adam!!

Well first of all thanks for the support in the Jellico Cosby post hamptonbigdogs and i will definatley try and lay the wood to someone this week!!! But good luck against Unaka and hope it is an injury free night for both teams!! Let me know Townsends stats after this one!!! My pick: Hampton

Sunbright is a good team but we had the chance to beat them we drove the ball 70 yards and scored on our first possession and made them go three and out their first drive then things went downhill a few blown assignments and a bad 2nd quarter cost us the game, if it had not been for that it wouldve been close!! But as for how sunbright would match up with you, they are big but noone to the degree of big 77!! I think that Hampton would win by a pretty good margin!!! BUt its how they and hampton plays on that night!!! Do you two teams meet this season!!!! Good luck against Unaka too!! Thats to bad for townsend but im just happy to know that he does that to other teams and not just us...lol!!! And the Devils will keep on keepin on but hopefully to a higher level of play than has been played, yet!!!

Wow it must be something to really brag about, being able to get a job making fun of 14-18 year old football players. Who work just as hard as any other team and maybe harder than some!!! But come on guys lets grow up some, I am 15 years old and know enough about respect to not trash talk someone while I am sittin behind a computer screen!! Now come on guys lets start talkin about football!!!!! My prediction is that this will be a close one!!!!!! Sunbright is good but the Devils ,my team, have alot of heart and we have worked really hard this year and some players really stepped it up this week after the Hampton game, so I think it will be a close one!!!! All we need is for all the puzzle peices to fall in place and we will be a very tough team to beat!!!

Well thank you all, I thank you for your nice comments and the luck!!!!! But I think my team really grew last night as a team the score board may not have showed it but we played hard and did not quit til the last whistle.... It was a really good thing for me to see and hear, as the coach took me out for the last series of downs, was freshmen and back ups beggin the coach for just a lil playin time as the clock wound down!!! Thanks again for the hospitality and thank goodness its your turn to travel next year but I still have one more trip up to hampton left in my football career as I am only a soph. But good luck versus Unicoi Co this week I look forward to seein Townsends stata and maybe the devils can pull one out against Sunbright!!! P.S. How bout them VOLS 35-0 with 7 minutes left in the 3rd....

Well sadly enough I was on that field tonight and all I have to say is ADAM TOWNSEND IS A FREAK!!!!!! He is a great ball player and a really nice person too all the hampton people were I thank you for your hospitality towards us...I was #52 and I could not get near Adam he is a great athlete, but the hardest thing was findin him before he was in the open field he is like 5'7 i think and I sware that there was a small mtn on the field to night in the form of #77 he is huge!!!! Also props to the QB he threw the ball well!!!! Good game to Hampton and good luck in the rest of the season!!!!

Im tired of everyone hatin on Jellico yes we have been in a slump for the last couple of years and yes it would be tuff for us to win 8 to 9 games but come on man!!!!! Every team has a chance to win every ballgame on any given night it just depends on how that teams plays that night!!! Rangerbrook were do you go to school or what stadium do you show up at on friday nights to watch a game, just curious???? I am not sayin Jellico is the best team in state but we are definitley not the worst, so I would like it if people would quit hatin!!!! And to you ifyoucantrunwiththebulldogs thanks for the support and good luck to you and yeah we havew to travel your way more than once, Hampton and Cloudland sheez those are some long rides!!! But anyway Jellico is improving and I hope and think will continue to improve under the new coaching staff and the players have also bought into the program, so you never know what could happen...

Wrong man we have 2 seniors this year tell me that is not bad..

That is prolly true because in the last year or two jellico has had a young team which means that freshmen and sophmore will be playin or even startin on their varsity but they are still eligible to play on jv. I am a sophmore now but last year i was a freshmen and i started. That is just one of the problems of havin such few numbers and a small senior class.

One score was an interception and that was on our jv, and another TD was scored after WG had fumbled and jellico recovered but gave it back because it was your last drive..... SO actually you could say you scored once!!!
