If west will come out and play strong and not let the flow of the game get disrupted they should win by 2 goals easy. but at the same time i think greenville's offense can be more explosive but they have to get through one heck of a back line then a goalie and greenville has no defense nor a goalie which they found out against jeff a loss they are still crying about

AWE guys believe it or not soccer is a contact sport and you are going to get hit time to time and like another guy said the ref wasn't calling it well guys you play to the whistle you don't cry about it online just admit you got beat and you couldn't score on a freshman goalie which it seems everyone is finding hard to do maybe coach c will recruit him in a few years or maybe he will be to good for tusculum i can't wait till the second round of conference starts it should be fun to watch good luck to you all, scoring that is

Agreed.Jeff knows the magnitude of the game and is not naive enough to expect east to hand them control of the conference. East has loads of talent and has earned the respect of the knoxville area this year, as well as the imac. I believe Jeff wants to pitch story in one of the games against west on tuesday to solidify the series win, not because they are overlooking east. Taylor, Jeff's number 2, will be on the hill against East, and he's no sloppy second. Thus far, he's achieved a sub-1 earned run average. Jeff, especially after three straight losses, is not overlooking a very talented and competitive East team.

So you fellows know i am not against you all but some of you greenville boys were a bit cocky the other day when i said some things on here but i want everyone in this conference to succeed i love watching you boys play but i am sorry i rubbed it in and i cannot help it i choose jeff county as my underdog pick to go to the region and they might not but man they are giving it one heck of a shot PS: I started a website for you boys it is called IMAC soccer or something like that

i do alot of traveling around in this conference and live in the area i really think this conference has alot to offer but i am just tired of going to the greenville page to talk about it so i figured i would help West East Greenville Cocke Jeff out to have there own page and share scores and info about other teams either in the conference or outside to better inform everyone involved sense the citizen tribune can't post anything on the net about the good soccer we are seeing this year

they definately got thrown from their gameplan and they definately outshot jeff but was an intense game and jeff county showed alot of heart like i haven't seen in these parts in a couple of years but they did play they are playing the underdog role well but when the second round of conference starts for them teams will be ready for them and they have to respond but i think there work ethic is incredible

No i am associated to no one i am actually from out of state i just have the opportunity to see a bunch of soccer in the area

neither really just get to see alot of soccer in the area i will say that

i honestly don't feel morristown west holds a candle to science hill they do not have the size and athleticism to get the job done but i know jeff isn't as skilled as west but they gave them one heck of a game

Sorry i am a concerned fan watching a good team fall to pieces from what i mentioned before just trying to get them to get fired up cause it seems their coach could care less obviously but i did not mean it to be taken in a bad way i would like it to serve as motivation for the guys who really do care there

obviously some coaches need to come scout us cause we managed to shut down on an off night a player you think is good but i would consider average

from what i hear seymour has no discipline you all dont even have everyone show up to practice the day before the game maybe if you all could find some way to become a team you all could win but the fact of the matter is you all are going to be the downfall of the program that the ones before you worked hard to establish With the exception of mosier, carlos and parrot you all are a disgrace

If you just stay front of carino he can't do anything he will dribble back in fourth but to no avale he will make a mistake then jump on him and to be honest i am not sure that he is that good of a forward last night all he could do was shoot the ball over the gaol but maybe that was because he was hearing footsteps.

Well we saw what happened last night you all could not even score on our freshman goalie he was making saves and smiling as he did it. That was probably the worst game the defense for jeff county has played all year. Maybe when we get you all up there you all will be able to do something. HA HA we won

Jeff dropped its second consecutive contest tonight at the hands of Gate City. Having watched Gate chuck the ball around as if imitating a young child, Jeff felt they would roll past Gate without a fight.....That floated about like a lead baloon as the Patriots' offense scarcely even represented a runner to 3rd base. Too much character from this team(I hope) to not imminently change this trend, though. We'll find out for sure pre-mid week next week.

its a shame you all do not see the beauty of soccer seymour is struggling to link 3 passes together in the game chase just wants to score he has no heart and andrew is without a doubt being played in the wrong positions because there coach is a moron his background might as weel be ayso girls and seymour is playing like it but carlos is very good as long as it doesnt go to his head like it did to omar

Good post. Seymour pitched a soph. and Bearden pitched a frosh. But anyway, what would it matter if they were the "aces" of their teams? At some point you've got to be able to beat the best to earn knoxville's respect. I wonder how D-B will fare when taking on the real aces of knoxville such as the Hollands and the Catapanos....

A great baseball game tonight. Two of the premiere pitchers in the area faced off and strutted their stuff. A couple timely errors cost both teams in what should have been a 1-0 Jefferson County win, remniscent of two years ago in the battle at West. West really impressed me tonight. They showed that they have the tenacity to beat anybody on any given day. A classic match-up. Excited about next week when Jeff travels to East at the beginning of the week, only to travel cross town to take on West once again back to back the following day.
