  1. Good point, I guess since UC beat middleton by 1 in substate, then middleton would have only beaten cloudland by 36. Ha Ha Ha Ha
  2. I gradutated from UC in 03 and I don't think we even had 442 students when I was there and enrollment has dropped since then. Coacht lists UC as having 391 and Humbolt as 440 (i think,) and UC's home page says "Approximate Enrollment = 400" UC even plays single A in football now which has 5 classifications, not 3. I don't see you whining about East Robertson having over 400, you know why? because you didn't have any trouble beating them, but with Humboldt, and possibly UC in your future, somebody's worried. So everybody just stop whining about classification and may the best teams win, and I think they will.
  3. I agree, UC's speed and abilty to run the floor should be to much for the cats to handle. Won't be a 37 point blowout but, i'll take UC by 15.
  4. Don't be ridiculous. The classifications are solely based on enrollment, not city size. According to the enrollments on coacht, UC has 391 students. That is less than Humboldt, Cosby, and East Robertson. Humboldt and East Robertson both have over 400. Both UC and Humbolt have had to compete as small AA schools for several years and face teams like Bolivar, Haywood Co., Fayette Ware in the region and substate. They paid their dues in AA, and it is paying off now.
  5. It's very possible, I don't know what central has coming back this year in football but I know UC lost a lot from this years state runner ups. Should be a good one, usually is.
  6. Best at what? Certainly not basketball or football. Yes OC has won the last four years. but what happened before that? 16 out of 17 years for UC I believe. Girls basketball? you got that one. Unfortunately UC and OC girls both came up a little short this year. Would have been cool to have them both at the state tourneys.
  7. Total dominance by UC in the 1st half. UC just atttemped 5 shots in one possession. Right now UC has 20 of their 29 points off of turnovers and has only allowed 8 shot to even be attempted with 4 min. left till half.
  8. Some of the posts crack me up. Since when did the state tourney become a civil war between the three parts of the state? The truth is that people from the east don't know much about the teams from the west and vise versa. So why don't we can the trash talking until somebody proves something on the court.
  9. Do you really think this one will get out of hand that bad? That would be embarrassing.
  10. It's very likely, not necessarily a lock to get all three but there are so many solid teams coming out of the west, especially in AA, it is definitely possible. Hopefully the boys from Utown can bring gold ball #4 back to the NW corner of the state.
  11. I watched Humbolt earlier in the year in a loss at UC and watched them beat UC for the region championship. They seemed to be have improved alot and are at the top of their game. Starters have good size and some size off the bench, great athleticism, all around solid.
  12. I don't know much about Cloudland, but I have seen UC play and they should be able to play with any single A team in the state. I'll take UC by 12, although it seems like cloudland is peaking at the right time, could be closer.
